You are bidding on an antique trading card from 1930 that depicts a Scotch Collie dog. Scottish Collie is the name originally given to the two dog types now often divided into Rough Collie and Smooth Collie. The back has a description in Danish; however there may be damage from where it was once glued into an album. The card size is approximately 2.5 x 1.75 inches(6.5 x 4.5 cm) The card has better color and sharpness than my scan shows. Check scan for condition. Good used'62 Slingerland 10"x28" Scotch Style Marching Bass Drum for auction with No Reserve Price! The original(12) chrome plated center mount lugs& 24) stock claws& tension rods are in good-used condition with nothing stripped or broken. The shell itself measures 10" wide& is 28" in diameter. It is a 3-ply shell w/natural mahogany interior& maple re-inforcing rings. The shell is wrapped in original white marine pearl underneath the blue leather the drum has been since covered in. We peeled back an area probably 10"x10" with a little heat applied. The leather was easily removed. The glue residue that's left will take a little work to remove, but is old& comes off fairly quickly& really clean. The shell is in round and would make a great project drum for someone! It's also ... moreready to play as-is. This bass is equipped with white painted stock hoops which have no breaks or splits. Most likely there will be matching wmp wrap inlays underneath. ARTESANIA RINCONADA Ape Figurine. Chimpanzee& Scotch Bottle, Retired, URUGUAY- Estate item: Adorable little chimpanzee figurine measuring 3 5/8" high and 2 1/2" wide. From Artesania Rinconada of Uruguay. The little chimp. With a bottle of Scotch, 46, was issued in the early 1970's and retired in 1999. He holds an index finger to his lips as if to say"Shush. Be quiet! The Artesania Rinconada Collection was started in the early 1970's by twin brothers. Jesus and Javier Carbajales in Montevideo, Uruguay. Their figurines are carved by hand and detailed with fine grain earthware glazed ceramic material. On this little chimp figurine, the bottle of Scotch is glazed dark green. This auction is for an old wooden crate that was used to ship The Grand Macnish Scotch Whisky made by Robert McNish& Co. Ltd. of Glascow and London. It is dirty from being stored in an old barn for years and it has some white paint spilled down one side. It is still in solid and strong condition with no cracked or loose boards. The end board mentions the Liquor Taxing Act of 1934 so I guess it is from about that time. It measures about 20" X 15" x 9" overall. Low minimum bid!
