I remember when I was shopping around for this meter that Fluke just had bought them out and this was one that was being sold to eliminate the stock that came with the buy-out. This auction is for a vintage PACO resistance capacitance ratio bridge tester. It is a model C-20 made probably in the 1950s with an early sn 3793. I put power on it and a small resistor in the power supply started to smoke so shut it off except to take a photo of the eagle green eye tube. It has 2 tubes a Syl 6x5 and a Pen rad 1629 that works. It is in very good cosmetic condition inside and out with all the control knobs. The front panel and case are in nice condition. I'm sure it can be repaired or just use for the parts you need. Which was used by the Imperial Japan military. The Imperial Japan's military stickers are put on the tester and the original bag. This is L-4 type and was made by Yokokawa Electronics Works. A Japanese company, in May 1945, which was just a few months before WWII ended. What this most surprised me is that this tester uses some English words. During WWII. Usage of English was strictly prohibited in Japan as a language of its enemy. For example, any English terms in baseball game, which was very popular in Japan from before WWII, were translated into Japanese(which made the baseball games very weird) However. This tester uses English words, such as LINE, EARTH, GUARD(refer ... moreto the pictures) etc. which are well transferable into Japanese, and the company's name is expressed in English initials(i.e. YEW" Whatever reasons were.
