Nice amp in excellent condition. Used sparingly. 260 watts per channel at 8ohms, 400 watts per channel at 4 ohms with both channels driven. I used it with JBL MRX515s, and it put out plenty of nice, transparent sound. At band practice and gig volume levels, the amp stayed quite cool. It ran a 5 piece band with 3 vox, keys, guitar, bass, and kick drum mic'd. That was a lot for it, but good enough for practice and small gigs. It sounds great with canned music too. Add a powered sub and you could play just about anything with it. I found an unbelievable deal on a high powered QSC amp and that's the reason I'm letting this go. The SKB case is only a few months old and has been to a couple of gigs. The amp is properly supported at the rear rack rails with titanium plates. RCA Vintage SP-10 Audio power amplifier
This has been in my possession since December 1963 when I received it new out of the box. as new old stock from the mid 1950's) This audio power amp became the first serious professional piece of my audio system at the tender age of 9 when I coupled it with a GE UPX series magnetic cartridge pre-amp and had my first hi-fi system. No frills and no tone controls and it sounded great to my young ears. Years later I repurposed this amp to serve in our family's basement theater where it fed an Altec-Lansing 601 co-axial speaker in a large bass reflex enclosure. The 10 watts RMS of this power amp was more than enough to fill the basement with great sound from our 35mm theater projector and background music playback sound system. I tested this amp recently and had to replace the HPN(appliance type) two prong ungrounded power cord to make ... moreit safe to operate. The amp sounds good and voltages on tube elements are within spec. All of the Electrolytic capacitors are working at present but they are all original equipment and should be replaced for reliable future use. I have not done this because I find astute collectors may have their own ideas as to how they want to restore vintage electronics given the options for replacement parts available in this era. I consider this amp to be rare as I have never seen another one in my 60 year lifetime. I also think it is exceptionally clean looking for it's approx. 60 year age. There is some paint flaking on the bottom plate. The amp comes with a photocopy of the original owner's manual and RCA MI accessories sheet. The speaker output cable is pre wired to an Amphenol 86-CP-4 speaker plug with original 4 conductor rubber service cord. a bit dried out but still useable) The power amp has an accessory socket(Amphenol series 78-S-5 large pin tube socket) that can provide filament and B+ DC to preamps that require external power such as the recommended RCA companion pre-amp(model SV-1 or SVT-1 with built-in tuner) The tube complement is: 6V6 GT 2 each. 6AU6 2 each. 12AU7A.

Selling a one owner Krell KST-100 stereo amplifier. This unit is in great condition and rated it an 8 only due to its age. THIS IS A VERY VERY HARD amplifier to come by. It sounds amazing to say the least with my Martin Logan electrostatics. It is a class A design for its first 50% of its power ratings and then it switches to class a/b when driven harder. Because of its class A design. This amp runs really warm to the touch. Class A amplifiers are known to run hot in order to create the"tube like" sound they are known for. The highs on this amp are simply amazing and the soundstage is very VERY 3 dimensional. This is the perfect match for those of you with power hungry speakers since this unit is stable even at 2 ohms. Up for your consideration is this very rare l09M power amp from Kenwood. Often considered the creme de la creme of vintage power amps. I am listing another matching amp in a seperate auction. You are bidding on ONE amp. We recently tested this item and it is in great working condition. These are very hard to come by and you will not get many opportunities to own one of these legends. Bid today! There are a few small cosmetic issues with this particular amp. The knob for the power switch is missing. However it still switches on and off easily, and I have read that replacement knobs can be found. There is a bit of scratching on the top in one are and what I can only describe as a worn spot? There is also a slightly dented area in one corner. Please look closely at the last couple pictures. I did my best to capture them. I don't feel these ... moredetract from the piece at all but if you are looking for a mint amp, you should take these things into consideration. They do not compromise how the amp works at all.
