First of all. I don't know much about printers, I got this from a college surplus sale. When I tested this machine it said that the#2 printhead needed to be replaced so I took the printhead out and cleaned it with alcohol several times and finally got it to do a test print. It went through the motions but absolutely no ink went on the paper so I figured it was out of ink and decided to sell it for parts. When I was dismantling it I discovered that a wire was loose on the air pump which may be why it wouldn't print, I don't know but I wanted to pass this along in case it helps someone who would know. Like I said, ... moreone printhead is bad and this stuff is used but other than the bad printhead I will guarantee it to not be DOA. The printer did not appear to have been used much, everything inside was dust free and the outside looked like new. The belt and belt tensioner are included as well as several cables.
