Vintage Slingerland 60s 20" Bass Drum Hoop wmp Ludwig wrap inlay fresh paint job
Here is a 60's Slingerland 20 inch hoop with inlay cut from a white marine pearl 60's Ludwig drum placed. This hoop was lightly sanded and repainted with semi gloss. There are some imperfections to the hoop as to be expected( pedal rash) but overall looks really nice and sits flat on a drum head. The bottom section of the wrap has yellowed and has a couple spots where the wrap is stubborn. While the top is shiny for the most part with small imperfections of course. I am by no means any kind of doll expert so the information I provide will be only to the best of my knowledge and what I have been told. Up for auction is a Titan 440XT airless paint sprayer in very good used condition. This unit has been a good backup to our larger airless units. And at times I found myself using this over my Graco Ultra 695 due to it's portability and easy operation. Total gallons run through this sprayer is approximately 150 gallons. The packing and seals were recently inspected and are in good condition with a lot of life left in them. Unit achieves 3000 psi at full pressure. This unit can handle up to a.021 tip. Capable of spraying latex, oils, stains, varnishes and heavy primers including Sherwin Williams PEEL BOND with no problems. Comes with a 50' hose and Titan LX80 gun, gun works great with zero spitting. I will include two tips, a 517 and a 415 along with a Graco tip guard and seal. Antique wood field drum hand painted w/Crest or Coat of Arms Folky paint...
Found this drum as a lamp. took off the goofy elect rical stuff and this is what was left. It is original and has a plywood circle inserted in the ring portion that holds the hide. That can be removed and the drum can be restored to play. It is 13 1/2" dia and 12" tall. I t is be autifully painted and has a crest or coat of arms on it that I have no idea what it represents. Hoping those of you out t her e interested may know. I does have original hide of some na ture on the top portion but the bottom only traces on the ring. I find no labe l or maker s mark but tried to photograph the interior. It is in good condition from what I can tell leaving for a moment the fac t that the plywood needs to be removed and the material replaced to play it. Antique Candle Shelf ~ Gorgeous Paint and Compass Rose Design
Description: Here is a great Candle Shelf of Finger Lamp shelf. This piece came from a local estate sale. This type of shelf has been used here in New Hampshire since Colonial times. The handle and large hanging hole allowed you to move it from room to room and the large hanging hole let it slip over shaker style wall pegs. This example has a few extra details to make this one stand out. The sides are there to help keep drafts from blowing out the candle and these sides flare out to funnel more light into the room. This piece has nice brick colored paint to it with yellow trim lines. Just below the hand carved hanging hole is a nicely done“Compass Rose” and you can still see where the maker used a compass and dividers to lay it out before painting it in.
