Bigger gourd is 16 inches tall and almost 30 inches around. And stands as shown. It's a hard gourd with good surfaces for painting. This auction is for a Provo Craft Paint Spinner Rack. This holds 160 bottles of 2 oz acrylic paint. 80 on the front and 80 on the back. The only thing I can see wrong with this is that the paint on the base has a scratch on it, which doesn't effect the rack in any way. They don't make these anymore, why I don't know. These spinner racks are truly amazing. I have 3 of these myself and they are just wonderful. All your paint in one holder, just spin it to get to the back side, and it's easy to move around by the handle. It's heavy filled with all the paint bottles when it's filled, but still easy to move around. I mark the top of my paint bottles with a permanent marker so I can easily find the color I'm looking for. I also arrange my colors alphabetically, which takes quite a while initially, but it's well worth ... moreit when you're searching for a particular color. ARTEX LOT 19 Tubes Roll-On Paint + HOOP + Bullfighter Stamped Red Fabric 35" X 22" The red fabric is like a velvety feel on one side and a flannel feel on the back side. It is stamped with the bullfighter pattern and the instructions are on a separate paper. has been stored a long time and I am airing it out. It may still have a stored smell and need a better airing out. The tubes of roll on paint look to be full or almost full. They all weigh in the box from 44 grams to 55 grams. The paint is 28 gram( 1 oz fluid) tube each. I have taken close ups of the paint so you can see the colors. Quite an assortment. The hoop measures approx 7" across inside. 14" 1911 Schoenhut boy doll. Original paint
Nice 14" Schoenhut doll. Other than the normal signs of wear on this fellow. His shoulders are a touch loose, but he can still hold a pose and someone a very long time ago painted his hair, which is about worn off. I am pretty sure he started life with a wig, due to the original nails holding a wig on are still present on his head. The outfit he is wearing is not original to him, but fits perfectly. Teseque or Jemez Pueblo pottery poster paint polychrome pitcher and olla
These little pieces were made and painted at Tesuque or Jemez Pueblo before 1980. They are very nicely painted in like colors. the olla. Which is 1.375" high and 2.5" diameter has a little wear at its top edge, but is not smudged. The pitcher is 2" tall and the paint is crisp and bright, but it has a little chip on its lip. I am listing other poster paint pots and plenty of other native American things and will be happy to combine shipping. It is 4.25" long and 3" wide and.75" tall. An unusual shape, well painted and in good condition with just a little wear to the black edge.The little pitcher, 3.25" tall also has some minor rubs, and it has a note in it that identifies the artist as Lenora Romero, Tesuque. Being sold as found. From a local estate sale is this sweet vintage metal hanging rectangular dome Bird Cage. I have not attempted to clean this in any way. Painted white. With some of the white paint chipping off, along with soiling, lots of rusting, spider cobwebs and old dried up bottom foliage. Forest maid deer fawn bookends Galvano Bronze, orig. paint, exc. condition 1920s
Rarely seen and wonderful bookends depicting a charming woodland scene of a young woman clasping a fawn to her side. All presented in lovely color. Title of the piece is shown as"Innocense" An unintended misspelling, I believe. Yes, Innocense" is a type of flower but that does not strike me as a logical title for this design. Another thought is that"innocense" may be an archaic and/or English form of"innocence" but I do not find on-line evidence to support that theory. Rather, I suggest that it just was an error, perhaps reflecting the fact that many of the artists who designed these pieces back in the 19-teens and'20s were immigrants and that English probably was a second language for them. These were made by P. Mori and Son- trading as Galvano Bronze- out of NYC in the early 1900's. Their name ... morefaintly visible in the side of the base. I have a copy of an early P. Mori and Son catalogue which shows this piece and, as you will see in my last photo, the typed name is correctly spelled with a"c" The same correct spelling appears in the accompanying price list as well. Unfortunately, in the catalogue, the image of these bookends does not give us a look at the title actually formed into the pieces themselves. These were electro-formed(or bronze-clad) The bottom showing the indentations for the metal loops used to suspend the pieces in a vat of some electro-plating solution. A handful of companies used this method in the early 1900's to make decorative household objects that had the look, feel and heft of solid bronze pieces yet still were affordable by the middle class. P. Mori(Galvano Bronze) was one of the first to do this. Condition is excellent. No breaks in the cladding, just some minor dings on the edges and corners. Paint is original, certainly showing wear appropriate to age, but otherwise almost entirely intact and still very eye-catching. 6 inches tall; 4 1/2 inches wide; 2 3/8 inches deep. And the truly unique aspect of this piece is the custom base. The huge base includes other cygnar models including a storm tower, crew and epic nemo. Epic nemo has his own converted"tesla storm tower" designed to to represent a larger version of the storm tower. The converted piece includes a working plasma globe that arcs electrical light. The plasma globe can be plugged up to an outlet and run when you have the model on a tray or in a case, but it also can be ran off battery power using 20 small battery cells(included) This way you ... morecan power the plasma globe during games using the button on the back of the base(pictured) All of the electrical gizmos fit into the cylindrical bottom of the base. Kato Custom Paint Details F7 ABA Red White Black Western Maryland
You are bidding on a beautiful set of Kato N scale F7 units in A-B-A configuration. Just like the Western Maryland ordered them- numbers 231-408-232. The 408 was the only WM B-unit that was painted in the so-called'Circus scheme' These are not your ordinary custom painted units. The decals used to letter the locomotives are custom made to match the correct height of the side lettering, class designation, and radio equipped designation. The rest of the decals are from Microscale where they match the prototype, including the nose MU doors on both A units and the stainless steel step kick plates. The grab irons are all custom made and installed in the correct arrangement and style that the WM used on their F units in the early 70's. The horns are 5-chime unidirectional pairs from Miniatures by Eric and all units have non-functioning ... morebackup light details installed on their B ends(both ends of the B unit) All 3 units have the correct stainless steel Farr intake grills from Plano Metal Products installed. All three units come in their original boxes(they were EL units) One loco- the 231- comes with DCC installed and the other 2 are still DC. The 231 is the newer DCC-compatible frame and the other 2 are the original design frames. All three run extremely well as you would expect from Kato units. All have Microtrains couplers installed.
