Very sweet old child's toy or miniature coffee mill. It measures 3 1/4" to top of hopper X 2 5/8" wide at base. 4 1/2" to top of nob at handle. The drawer is 1 3/4" X 1 3/8" I put a cracked coffee bean in it and it worked well but it would take a while to get enough for a cup coffee. No brand markings I can find. Metal top and drawer front with wood base and drawer body. Believe this is vintage as has been in our family for many years. Chips in the paint and tears to the sand paper under the drawer is flaws. Hi! Up for sale today is this gently preowned solid wood surfboard decoration. Features beautiful airbrush paint scene on the front. There is some paint wear(paint is thinner) on the edges that may have been there from the start due to the painting process. There are small dents on the face(possible from the nature of the wood) of the surfboard but in general is in great shape. Measures approx. 23.75" tall x 5.75" wide x approx. 1/2" thick. This does not have a hanger or stand so would work better standing up in the corner of a room. Makes a cute touch to a tropical nursery or child's bedroom. FANTASTIC BOLDLY TURNED VIRGINIA COUNTRY CANNONBALL BED - WONDERFUL PAINT
Several years ago I bought this fantastic country bed at an estate auction in Powhatan County. Virginia. My intentions were to get it together and put it to use in our guest bedroom. Another bed came along before I got around to it and this one ended up in the garage. It is all original- with great old paint over a dark original surface. The paint has aged beautifully- lots of real alligatoring and oxidation. I'm guessing it was painted around 1900 or before. The posts were turned from 4 x 4 maple(I think- it is very heavy) and feature bold turnings that terminate in big cannonballs. The posts are 46 inches tall; bed is 56" across(wide) outside dimension; it is 50" wide inside the rails; the rails are 64" long; the length inside the rails is 66" The only thing this bed needs are bed bolts and a little tightening of ... moreone joint in the foot board.
