It is deeply recessed with a deep widow sill and wonderfully framed. The wooden frame has traces of Original Oyster White Paint. The outer frame is original but has been replaced during it's life and is painted in Old Style Blue. There are four panes and the glass is wonderfully wavy and old. This very nice little cabinet. It measures 20" W x 12.5" D x 11" H and weighs 15 lbs. It has 3 drawers that measure 17" W x 9.5" D x 1.5" H each. The top space under the lid measures 18" W x 9.5" D x 3" H. The drawers are not dovetailed and the top drawer appears to have been filed down to allow it to slide better. You can see this in the 9th picture. It has a little lock but we don't have the key. On the drawers. The knobs have long screws that stick into the inside of the drawers. You can see this in picture# 9 also. There are two little handles on the side that you can pick ... moreit up by. The bottom drawer has a couple of holes in the middle of it from a previous location of a handle. It's a nice red color and it's hard to take a good picture of it. As you'd expect. There are other scratches, nicks, and slight discolorations as you can see in the pictures. It's a very nice cabinet and would make a nice addition to your collection. Up for auction I have a very large vintage or antique ceramic pitcher in an off-white color. With a blue heart flanked by flowers painted with a sponge using a stencil. The clear glaze is crackled over most all of the pitcher, inside and out, in an irregular pattern, I tried to capture this in the close ups. There are no chips or cracks. It stands 9 1/2" tall by about 7" wide and weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. The handle is very sturdy as well. This is offered with no reserve. Please advise if you have any questions. 1966 Ludwig Supraphonic custom paint burgundy with wood grain
I paint custom cars and build and refinish drums so I have started resurrecting these old shells that normally would be discarded because the chrome is so bad. Now the shells look brand new and have been clear coated with a dupont automotive grade urethane which if taken care of will last a lifetime. The shell has been buffed and polished to a high gloss and the wood grain I did with airbrush and candy black is very faint and really quite cool. This is a great looking and great sounding drum with original snares, remo ambassador reso head and remo renaissance batter head. This is THE model of drum that is on more hit recordings than any other and is the right vintage as well. Manufactured by the J& E Stevens Company of Cromwell. CT. The bank works by lowering the little boys' arm which raises the apple. You then cock the rifle. Place a coin on the top of the rifle barrel and the coin is launched by pressing the figure’s right foot. The coin knocks the apple off the boy's head and rings the bell on the inside of the bank. Victorian Clambroth Blown Art Glass Vase Bristol o Smith Bros Hand Paint Peaches
Here is a wonderful art glass vase from the Victorian era. It is a semi opaque clam broth glass vase with a pontil on bottom. It stands about 5" high and has a bulbous base with a small neck and a ring collar. I am a little unsure as to the origin. It is definitely old. And the shape reminds me of Bristol Vases from England, but the lovely hand painted peaches and stems and leaves all around the piece look more like an American style of decoration, so I'm thinking maybe Smith Bros. If anyone out there can definitely id the piece, I would appreciate the information. It is a slightly yellowish and greenish semi opaque clam broth with many tiny white inclusions in the glass that give it a somewhat speckled appearance in places. It is in excellent condition. There are several small scratches in the finish. This celery originally had a gold band at the lip. Much of that is now gone. My guess would be that 50% of the gold is still on the piece.
