The plastic guard that goes over the high voltage terminal screws has some cracks and the exterior of the unit has a few scratches from being handled. The adjustable micrometer crosshairs align with the fixed target at or very close to the vernier zero. The serial number and data plate were removed on this unit. This was probably done by an overzealous employee when the original agency removed its property control stickers. The case has the numbers#277 written on it which is likely the actual serial number of the scope. The model is similar to Model K-122 with the improvement of threaded removable cross hair adjustment plugs. The adjustable micrometer crosshairs align with the fixed target as intended but not at anywhere close to the vernier zero. There look to be set screws in the dials but I do not know if you can loosen them and reset zero on the dials that way The scope appears to function properly while viewing through it. Some particles can be seen. Possibly dust. Assume this will need to be cleaned and calibrated. I have done nothing with it so the outside could use a cleaning as well The serial number and data plate were removed on this unit. This was probably done by an overzealous employee when the original agency removed its property control stickers. This looks similar to a Model K-122 that I sold There are no apparent physical problems which would hamper operation that I can see but as I am not familiar with this equipment at all it is being sold"as ... moreis" with no returns.
