Included is a marcasite brooch or pendant, a heart-shaped filigree brooch, and a pair of marcasite screw-in earrings, as illustrated below. Antique very large art nouveau jewelery box or casket made in metal depicting the head of a young girl coming out of a flower. The box measures about 8 by 8in by about 4 1/2in. high and is quite heavy 5 1/2 lbs. it's very nicely detailed and made of a base metal, there are no makers names on it only a number but it looks like a piece Jennings Bros. would have made in the 1920s it looks to be in good condition the bottom inside is lined in a dark blue velvet the top is unlined unfortunately it was so heavy that I was afraid it would tear off so I had a jeweler add a pair of chains on the inside of it for support, if you collect art nouveau pieces or just have a lot of jewelry and no place to keep it this is a very impressive piece and is guaranteed to be an old one.

Its old silk lining is long gone. It measures about 6" long by 4" wide and stands about 4 5/8" tall. The hinge is in good working order. It has the JB Mark on the bottom, for the Jennings Brothers. We took many pics of it to show its details. It does have a a crack on the back right side around the hinge area, but isn't really noticeable until you open it. She is a very pretty old Navajo doll in authentic costume. Seated she is 14-1/2" high by 10" Though when the skirt flares around he it measures about 2 feet across. She wears a taffeta skirt and petticoat, purple velvet blouse with silver sequin buttons and conchos with a hand-woven sash. Her jewelry: bracelets, earrings and necklaces are glass beads. Yarn hair is worn in traditional Navajo style and she has a beautiful hand-embroidered face. The doll is seated on"cushion" instead of legs- see photo. Lovely example of Navajo craftsmanship.
