This Upper Support Frame for the LCD display was taken from a recycled Fluke 87. The tangs on the frame hold the LCD Display and its elastomeric connectors tight against the Main Printed Circuit Board. A loose frame can cause blurring and fading of the LCD Display. It will fit some other 80 series meters. But it is up to you to decide if it will fit your meter. Please be sure this is the one you want before ordering. I have used JB epoxy to repair the upper left tang which was about to break off. This means you will need to slip the circuit board into that side, making sure the tangs are in place, before pushing down to seat the other two tangs.
