1940s TELECHRON "STRIKE" ELECTRIC BRACKET CLOCK - TESTED, INSPECTED, RUNS
Mid 1900s vintage Telechron Electric Clock. Strike" model, mahogany bracket style case. Runs well, chime striker pad needs replaced, and the second hand needs to be pushed back in snugly on its pin. I thought the clock didn't run, so I removed the 4 screws and inspected the movement. After pin-oiling everything I plugged it in a saw that it did indeed run, nicely at that. I reassembled the clock and only then did I figure out the second hand was loose! Ah well, at least got the lubrication done. Overall measurements are about 9 1/2"h x 8"w at the base. Good face and glass, finish has mild age and some finish nicks but still quite presentable. Nice inlay accents too. This is a Suzuki Keyman PK-61 Electric Piano Keyboard musical instrument. I have battery tested this unit. And checked to make sure that the different instrument sounds as well as the rhythm section work properly. These elements are all in working order. The volume controls work. This is where we come to the end of my knowledge on this item. There is a cord coming out of the area where the power button is. It seems to be a connection of some sort. This is seen in the photos, and may be the way that things are supposed to be, but I am not sure, so I am mentioning it, just trying to describe it as well as possible. I did not test the recording ability as I don't have any recordable cassette tapes. This was owned by my grandmother though who took great care of her things.
