American Optical AO/Spencer Measuring Reticle or Micrometer Disc for microscope eyepieces. Diameter of the disc is 20 mm. The reticle is optical glass. Clear, clean, and unscratched. It is very high quality as evidenced by the beveled edge visible in one of the photos. The engraved scale is 1 cm long. And divided into 100 divisions. Thus, each smallest division of the reticle is 100 microns long. The measuring eyepiece reticle is essential for precise measuring of microscopic specimens. American Optical AO Spencer Microscope Carrying Case for Microscope Head
Here is a great way to protect your American Optical AO Spencer microscope head. During transport or storage. This is an original American Optical microscope carrying case, in excellent condition. The lock is in great condition but I do not have the key. The door hinges are intact and tight, and the top leather handle is in excellent, sound condition. The outside finish of the case is also excellent. Inside the case. There is a shelf with a 3-3/8 inch diameter hole for storage of the microscope head. Please note: the microscope head shown in a few of the photos is NOT part of the auction and is included for demonstration purposes only. The case is ideally made for storage of the AO Model 23 and Model 28 microscope heads(and similar) but other microscope heads may fit as well-measure to be sure. The hole in the inside shelf for holding the ... moremicroscope head is velvet lined, and the velvet is in good condition. The outside dimensions of the case are 8 inches X 8 inches X 12-1/4 inches. Two pairs of American optical sunglasses with leather side shields and nose pieces. One pair marked AO M with green beveled lenses and brass frames the leather straps that has rivets are broken and the leather shows wear The other pair has green beveled lenses and the frames are silver in color with some surface rust in places and only one of the riveted leather straps are broken on these pair. Both pairs have scratches on the lenses and looks like some Pitting. Very steampunk and and look to be from the 1920's or 1930's but I'm not 100% sure of that. The third pair appear to be Masonic hoodwinks. I don't know much about them other than they have metal covers over the eye wholes. And a screw turns and the open and close. This is a rare 1954 American Optical Educational kit. It has some water damage on the front of the box. But the inside appears to be in good shape. The box says it comes"complete with mirrors. Lenses, prisms, color filters, optical bench and a light source. Makes 4 types of telescopes, 2 microscopes, periscope, in addition to outlining many fascinating light experiments. Conduct all of the experiments and become a certified Junior Optical Engineer. It looks like most. If not all of the pieces are there. The only experiment that I can see looks like it was worked on was the periscope. AO is a fantastic company with a long heritage. There can't be many of these in existence. It would make a fantastic display in an optometrist's office.

Very collectable early American wool penny rug. The rug is hexigon shaped. 28 inches wide(verticle) and 48 inches from point to point horizontally. The wool circles are stitched to a gold cotton backing. The back of the rug is a black cotton fabric. Each wool circle in the design three layers. The rug may have been kept in a hope chest as it is old, but shows almost no wear. There are a few circles missing(see photo) This is are rare and beautiful design, perfect for mounting and hanging on the wall.

Vintage American Optical No 735 Spencer Microscope Lamps. Spot or Stage Light! This auction is for one industrial chic vintage lamp. I do have multiple lamps in stock. So please see quantity listed. Hurry only one extra bulb in stock! This unit is in very good condition. Works great! Not entirely certain of what this lamp is used for. But I believe it is a microscope light. These lamps have a very interesting vintage Hollywood or even futuristic look. I think it would also make a great home theater spot light, track light, or stage lighting. Please see images. The images are of the actual lamps for sale. Features: The base adjusts up and down. The lens telescopes in and ... moreout. Which softens the glow. The rear easily unscrews for a light bulb change. Known issue: I removed the metal shutter that would normally be at the en of the lens. This shutter was used to close off the light. Without turning off the lamp. However, the power switch is also close to the lamp and can easily turn of the lamp as well. Please see images. Weight is about 12 pounds per unit.
