HAND MADE MISSION STYLE DESK/SHELF CLOCK, 6"H X 4.25"W, CEDAR SEE DETAILS
BACKGROUND: This nice little“Mission Style” desk or shelf clock was made by a person who worked with me. For my wife. That was probably 8 or 9 years ago. She kept it on a shelf above her desk for a long time. We are both about 70 and decided to“downsize. Many things have to go, and this is one of them. D ESCRIPTION: The overall dimensions of the clock are 6” tall. 4.25” wide, and 2.25” deep. I am not an expert, but it seems to be made of cedar. The wood is quite hard and has only a few minor nicks. There is an inlay of light wood on each side of the piece that you can see in the photos. It weighs just over 11 ounces. The clock ran well for years. And I bought two small batteries, put one in and saved the other. When we decided to sell it, I tried the other battery, and the clock did not run. So earlier today, I went and bought a single battery ... moreto make sure it worked. The battery cost $4+. I inserted it, and the second hand began to move, but unusually quickly. It turns out the clock runs very fast. Perhaps twice the speed it should. I almost decided to get rid of it, and then thought that perhaps someone would be able to open the clock up and fix it, or perhaps buy another clock(possibly for very little) that would fit in the 2 3/8” recess. The craftsmanship that went into the woodwork is clear from the photos. And it would be a waste to throw it away. However, I at least need to recover a few dollars on the new battery. This 18k rose gold angel skin coral ring is gorgeous. Being light cream pink in color with a tad pinker area on the top right(in most of the photos of the stone) The face of the stone is in excellent condition, as is the rose gold. The coral stone measures 17 x 11mm, the ring size is 6.25, and the total weight of the ring is 4.9 grams. There is a partial 18K stamp which can be seen, so I had it confirmed by my jeweler as being 18k rose gold. I had the ring polished; the stone was in such fine condition, it did not need polishing. This gem of a ring is ready for a new owner.
