Thomas & Betts T&B #368 Cable Stripping Tool [2]
This eBay auction listing is for a Thomas& Betts T&B#368 Cable Stripping Tool. Strip range of the tool is#1 AWG to 1000 MCM. It is manual and simple to use. Design is that of adjustable type pliers with a cable size gage positioned next to the jaw adjustment channels to easily choose the correct cable setting. Once the setting is selected the cable is placed within the jaws and rotated around the cable at the desired strip length. The second step is to expose the slitter blade which is placed into the circumferential cut in the insulation then pulled toward the end of the cable. The stripped piece of insulation will either fall off or is easily removed by hand. Caution must be used when using the slitter blade it is extremely sharp and could cause cuts to your person. The tool is used in excellent condition.
