It is missing. I believe this to be from the 1940s- 1950s. Tan leather case by K&E in Great Shape but does have previous owners name tag on front side. Slide Rule is 10.5 inches long. The slide and body of the rule are both marked 326772. Also included is its original leather case. A previous owner deeply printed his initials on the reverse of the rule. Otherwise, the rule is in excellent condition and works perfectly. The previous owner also wrote his name in two places on the leather case. The case is also slightly soiled and shows light wear. Keuffel& Esser Stadia Hand Level. K&E first offered this piece in 1909 as the model# 5375 which is the model you see listed here and has a pat. date of 1910. It comes with the ball and socket. A model# 5375L adjustment leveler, and storage case. From 1909 to 1913 this was the only model K&E offered. By 1915 they added the model# 5376 with spiral focus arrangement as pictured in the 1915 catalog. This level comes with a display base and attached vernier which appears to be added and is a separate piece between the transit and leveling adjustment. He was an engineer his entire life and after serving as a Seabee in the South Pacific during WWII. He worked on major projects in South America and Saudi Arabia in the 1950s. We found two compasses, which are listed separately. This compass is a Keuffel& Esser#1552 in original wood case. The case is in good shape and locks fine. The wood shows normal wear. But is not cracked. The compass does work and has no broken glass. The flaw to this compass is the discoloration of the face of the compass and we have no idea if this can be cleaned or not. Well, This one was made in 1897. This 1897 Vintage is called"Early Twister Leg Style.they started making this style around 1895 up to about 1913(this style was said to be stronger than the straight legs) This survey transit is serial number#3291. And it still has the hard to find"Sun Shade" on the lens end! The total length from tip to tip is about 10 inches. Without the sun shade.and the total length of the red reading needle is about 4 1/4 inches long, in the 4 3/4 inch diameter window. Included is the newer metal tripod base.
