For your consideration is a great desk top slide rule by Keuffel& Esser Co. N.Y. This unique set comes with its original instruction manual and is in really clean condition. The faux leather look is some sort of rubbery composite. But has a luxurious appearance for a k-12 set. I believe this set dates to the early 1960's and measures almost 13" long by about 4" wide and perhaps a half inch to an inch thick. Thank you for your interest!

We're not sure if this was something actually used to compute or if it was just hanging on the wall advertising slide rules for Keuffel& Esser Co. N.Y. It was most likely used for training on the use of a slide rule. The piece is from the early 1950's. The center section slides effortlessly and is reversible. This would look great on the wall in someone's office of rec room. Especially for someone who is involved with engineering. The piece is quite large. Will ship or item can be picked up at our shop. ANTIQUE 1901 KEUFFEL & ESSER BRASS SURVEY TRANSIT WITH Y LEVEL
Being offered is a Fabulous Brass Survey Transit With Y Level Produced By Keuffel& Esser Co. New York. Based on the Serial#5089 this instrument was made in 1901. The following patent dates are also found on this piece Oct 13 91. Dec 3 89, Aug 12 90, May 26 91. It is fully functional and there are no scratches to the lenses but there are two tiny anomalies seen on one lens when tilting into the light at some angles(see pictures 10,11) When looking into the scope the images are crystal clear and there is no cloudiness, the two anomalies are not visible. This piece is over 100 years old so it does show some signs of wear and nice original patina. It stands 6" tall, 11 3/4 in length when scope is extended. Please note that I will be starting this auction at an extremely low price as I always do with NO reserve!

HELLO! I have an EARLY 1910'S K& E AMERICAN EAGLE CAST IRON DRAFTING TABLE. I just got back from the mountains of Virgina with this table. It was an original piece in a textile mill in VA. The original green paint is nearly all there except where you would expect to see wear on the knobs and handles. All of the hardware appears to be original and the top is a gorgeous mellow honey color that is thick cut pine. The top is by Emmert Mfg. of out of PA. I'm not sure if it is original and K& E used their tops or if it was replaced. The top measures 54 x 40.5 inches. All of the mechanics work but could use some lubrication. Local pickup available or I can arrange to transport a reasonable distance from the Chattanooga. TN area. I strive to provide honest descriptions on interesting items. June 5, 1900& another PAT. 8-17-15 on clear sliding section. Back side of slide rule set in wooden back. Also offered is a group of HAUSLER. A Germany Co. known for its drafting tools. An elderly gentleman used his set for many years and the holder was in very rough shape. I have kept for the box bottom for storage.In the box are good compasses and most have the small Hausler marking on them. The owner kept this set for many years and used them for the his engineering including drafting. Along with the Hausler pieces there is black handled 5 3/4" tool with sharp edge roller on the end. Other 5 1/4" tool has worn handle and sharp end.

I believe it is missing a smaller compass, a compass point on one of the long compasses and the lead holder. There is age wear and some tarnishing/rusting but pieces look in good usable condition. This is a vintage slide rule that was purchased and used by Willard Overholts. Who worked for the rail road engineering group in Portland Oregon. Willard was a relative and this slide rule has been in the family for over sixty years. Both the ruler and case have his name on them. The slide rule is in good shape and works fine. The leather case is in good shape. I believe this slide rule was made about 1950(or before) and the serial number(which matches on the main unit and the slide) is 223532. The patent is dated 1900. Up for auction is this vintage assortment of K&E slide rule literature and a K&E drafting/drawing tool set. The 1955 paperback K&E Side Rule Manual measures about 8 inches by 5.25 inches. The manual contains 126 numbered pages. The large circle-looped stain fads away after about the first nine pages. The manual does have other small light stains. But the pages are all intact and legible. The 1962 K&E catalog number“8” measures about 8.5 inches by 11 inches and contains 31 numbered pages. The catalog has just a few minor spots of staining; the pages are all nice. The K&E Apollo Drawing Instrument Set(55-0442) is missing its large divider/compass. All of the other tools are nice.
