The brooch measures 1 7/8" by 1 5/8" It is marked on the back with the Bell Logo and Nickel Silver. The Bell Trading Company was founded in Albuquerque. New Mexico in 1935 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred. A friend of mine was in the U.S. Army stationed in Berlin in the 1990's and collected a large group of Soviet. East and West German, and Communist Block countries medals, insignia, uniforms and headgear. He recently contacted me and offered his collection to me because he has new collecting interests and so I purchased his entire collection which I will be offering over the next week so please keep watching. This is just a great Early West German Army Officer's Visor cap in great condition. It is a size 55 amd is dated 1955. due to the increased number of non-paying bidders I now have to request payment within 5 days.
