The reflector sheet has some scratches yet still functions perfectly. The inside of the projector does have an old electronic smell to it. I did clean the unit carefully yet was unable to fully eliminate the odor. In addition the bottom of the overhead has some old tape residue on it. I attempted to remove some of it.
