Herman Miller George Nelson CSS Sliding Door Cabinet
Here is a Herman Miller CSS Sliding Door Cabinet that was designed by George Nelson. This cabinet goes along with the CSS systems. It will only fit the wall mounted version of the CSS. The cabinet measures 32 inches in length by 12 inches wide and it stands 22 inches high. It has all the hardware to hang on the poles. This cabinet is made out of walnut and it is all original Herman Miller. It is in good shape for the age, it does show ware from being used which shows in the photos. The set is in excellent condition for its age and has exquisite brazillian rosewood panels combined with lovely proper Herman Miller cushions. The Herman Miller label is still present on the chair and is the round. White label. The chair also has round clips as is consistent with pre-71 chairs as well as down filled cushions. Cushions: Overall. The cushions are in great shape and are updated and correct Herman Miller cushions with newer foam filling. The arm rests are like new and leather is very supple. George Nelson Herman Miller Glass Door Bookcase Cabinet
The piece is in good used condition. it has a hole in the back for an electrical chord. The dimension are approximately 34" wide 18 1/2" deep and 24 1/4" tall. I have had bad luck shipping glass even packing it carefully. So the doors would have to go in a separate box. I would prefer local pickup. Shipping to be quoted at the close of the auction. I have to buy boxes and packing material and that will be included in the cost. I would guess greyhound some where around $100. I never make money on shipping however bear in mind ebay charges the seller a percentage of the shipping. Up for auction is a set of 4 original Herman Miller Fiberglass Armchairs. They are all completely original and stamped with the Herman Miller logo on the bottom. Everything is original. The base, the upholstery and the casters. The chairs themselves are in good condition. The upholstery is not torn or coming off any of the chairs, the fabric is very tight. However as you can see in the photos the upholstery does need a proper cleaning. The upholstery isn't damaged but it does have some stains and dust, hair etc. Overall the chairs just need the cleaning and they will look brilliant. MID CENTURY MODERN Vintage Herman Miller George Nelson GLASS CABINET CREDENZA
Please note that this auction is for the glass credenza only. The slat bench is for display purposes. Here's a wonderful vintage 1950s era George Nelson designed for Herman Miller glass credenza unit. This particular style was made especially to sit on a Herman Miller slat bench as seen in the first photo. It features 2 sliding glass doors. Both with the iconic George Nelson"scoop" handles that are built into the glass and a interior lamp that switches on and off as needed. The piece is a authentic but is missing the Herman Miller sticker as many of these vintage pieces are. CONDITION Overall the unit is in excellent condition with no major detractions. There are no breaks. Cracks or splits to the wood. The sliding glass is complete and without chips or cracks. The lamp has been tested and works as it should. The electrical ... morecord is complete and without damage. There are some light scuff and scratch marks as seen in the photos that are normal for a unit of this age. Many of these have been lightly colored in with a furniture crayon and are very hard to spot. Photo 9 and 10 show both sides of the unit which has some of this light wear. Photo 11 shows a small area on the top which also has some light wear. These photos show the sides with direct light applied to it to make these minor detractions stand out more. The unit is missing the glass(or wood) shelves that went inside but it does have 8 of the metal clips that hold the shelves. These fit into the interior slots as they should and are secure. The cord that goes to the lamp is secure to the sides and top but not taut. It leads to a vintage transformer which sits loosely on the bottom interior. The transformer works as it should but it isn't the prettiest thing in the world. The fixture uses a modern bulb so you may be able to do a simple re-wire and get rid of this transformer unit. The back of the unit is enclosed with thinner wood. A couple of the nail tacks are missing but the wood is still secure. These tacks could be easily replaced. I be

Up for auction is an original 1970's Herman Miller Eames lounge chair and ottoman. The set is in excellent condition for its age and has beautiful brazillian rosewood panels combined with proper Herman Miller cushions. The Herman Miller label is still present on the chair and is the black. Rectangular label. The chair also has rectangular black clips as is consistent with chairs of this vintage. Cushions: Overall. The cushions are in great shape. The leather is very supple. The seat cushion and ottoman are both in remarkably great shape for their age and overall, only a couple of light scratches can be found. No tears or rips are present on any of the cushions. Wood: The rosewood shells are in excellent condition. There is one small nick on the top right side of the headrest. It is otherwise in excellent condition. Shock Mounts: The shock ... moremounts are in great shape and the chair still holds strong. Bases and Metal The aluminum bases are in great condition. Here is a wonderful vintage sample Alexander Girard wool throw blanket in great vintage condition! This is in super vintage condition. Found in a thrift store with many other wool blankets that we will be listing. Because this is the same maker and wool tag as another Alexander Girard Braniff airlines throw we have listed, and came together in one sale, this meets the style of his mid century Herman Miller era throws and block plaid pattern and we assume it's a sample that goes with the orange block Braniff blanket. The tag shows it was made by Tex-Ranch Woolens Inc, division of Rock River Textiles Brownwood Texas, and we can't find any of the Braniff blankets that were used on the airlines with that same tag, we are wondering if it was a sample when Alexander Girard began his quest to add color to the airlines? No flaws, moth bites, etc. Whoever stored these blankets(and we have numerous blankets we assume came from the same collector or purchaser/sample production person) kept them in excellent storage shape. They smell new, the wool smell is wonderful, not with any mothball smell at all! All the blankets still have the original seams as shown, and were kept nice and folded. Herman Miller - Avive 72" Desk Workspace Table Action Office Height Adjust NICE!
Offered for your consideration is a Herman Miller 72" x 24" Avive desk work space table. These are in the current Herman Miller product line. Two are available. Both are barely used. The tops are beautiful smooth matte white and are in top shape with no marks. These high end desk tables were $1644 each not including the cable management option which these have as shown on the bottom in the photo. The leading edge has a bevel which feels nice to work on. They are height adjustable from 26.5 inches to 31.5 inches. The legs are easily removable with allen wrench screws. Local Pick up only here in Santa Barbara. Payment due within 3 days but I am willing to store them until the buyer can pick them up. These can also be freighted to your destination at your cost and arrangement.
