This chair is an original and not a reproduction! The first chair to be made in plastic by Verner Panton for Herman Miller. This chair has historical significance! It is also relatively uncommon. It's in excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age. What was to become heralded as the first single piece molded chair. The S-chair was actually based on an earlier design by Poul Kjaerholm, which was prototyped in wire and papier-mache in 1953. new postwar technologies allowed for new aesthetics, Panton's chair must be seen as one of the most extraordinary examples. It marks the first instance in which both technique and material define appearance: injection-molded plastic allows for a single-material, single-form chair. In used condition it has some scratches and scuffs but all the functions seem to work good. The arm fabric and seat cushion and back are all teal color. The seat has some of the bands coming undone this is shown in one of the pictures. The armrests are also adjustable in and out and up and down. Any questions feel free to let me know. Herman Miller Eames fiberglass shell orange side chair. Label on bottom of chair has a date of September 6. 1977. Chair has original standard base and will be shipped separately. This price is included in the shipping price listed. Plastic feet are missing on two back legs. We can sell and ship without the base and adjust the shipping if desired. Shock mounts are in good condition. Translucent fiberglass with visible strands. Overall fair vintage condition with no cracks. There are some small, deeper scratches on the seat bottom as shown in the pictures. Other wear includes light scuffs and scratches.

For auction is one original vintage Herman Miller Eames fiberglass shell chair with the non-swivel pedestal base. It features a grayish-beige fiberglass shell with beige vinyl/naugahyde upholstery. It is in excellent overall condition The foam and vinyl are in great shape. No split seams. But there is one tiny nick in the vinyl at the edge of the seat(pictured) There are also some pale stains on one side of the seat, which barely register in the photographs. The aluminum base has been cleaned and polished but still has a few dark oxidation spots that are common to these vintage bases. The entire chair has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. There are also some fine, whitish scratches on the back and a quarter-sized scuff toward the bottom left, but nothing more than what is obvious in the photos. The Red Rocket Cloud desk designed by Ayse Birsel has become a modern classic since it was introduced over a decade ago. The desk is no longer in production. The round orange“cloud” can be adjusted up or down and is perfect for a TV. A lamp, or a great piece of sculpture. The desk features a comfortable angled desk surface with 4 pencil drawers for storage and a large hanging file or storage area concealed by a drop down flap. This desk was well kept but does have some minor wear from regular use as detailed below. The wood roll top is in very nice condition with little wear. The sides of the desk were originally ... moreblack. The previous owner painted the sides of the desk as well as the top of the file cabinet flap in brown tones as pictured. The inside of the file cabinet has a black mark as pictured, the inside smells kind of like a wood fire(this desk came from a very cool artist's compound and spent its life next to a wood burning stove. It is not very notable if you have the flap down and kind of gives the desk great character but should be mentioned. One little spacer and screw are missing on the drop down flap glide as shown in picture 16(there is also a scratch to the side of the desk also pictured in this image) this should be an easy fix but still works fine as is- the original hardware on the other side is pictured in image 17. The drop down flap has some minor wear as pictured in pictures 8 and 9. The aluminum legs have some expected scuffs but could likely be polished. The desk surface has some light scratches and some yellow marks(mostly on the right side) which are not too distracting can probably be cleaned up(see picture 10) The wood front of the desk(visible when the roll top is in the closed position) has some light water marks as shown in picture 14. Awesome set of 4 rare Herman Miller LKX-1 Low Lounge Chairs made in Venice. California for sale. We found these in a three seasons porch at a lake shore estate. Although not in poor condition, we felt the needed some love and restoration. We have re-finished the black bases and white wire seat shells with two coats of primer and three coats of high quality enamel based paint. We think they look pretty nice! One of the wire chair shells has some small broken wires and some small cracks in the front screw mounting arbors, as pictured. They do not affect the function or sturdiness of the chair. The other three shells have no broken wires or cracks. None of the chairs show any evidence of repairs, but may have a few wires that are slightly bent. We placed nylon washers between the bases and seat shells. We are also including the original bikini ... morepads which are in fair condition. The have waste cattle hair pads and what appears to be a faux reptile skin naugahyde coverings. We feel these could be salvaged and restored with the original padding and production tags intact, if you wish. The rubber boot glides are all original with the exception of one new replacement. A few glides have some small cracks and two have back tape holding them together. We will include 2 new extra replacement glides as well. Bases will be removed for shipping. The chair was manufactured by Zenith for Herman Miller and is one from the earliest generation of Eames armshells. The rope edge was discontinued after a short period of production due to the added expense of an additional step in the manufacturing process. Listed for sale is an all original Eames LCW by Evans lounge chair in excellent condition with an extremely rare and original slunk skin cover. The chair is all original. With shock mounts that have been replaced during its life. The chair has acquired a beautiful patina and retains the original finish. The finish itself has held up well, with clear signs of use, but no chips or notable damage. Only minor scratches are evident. In terms of hardware, the chair has the Evans 5-2-5 setup as well as the original writing from Evans seen on the underside of the chair. Rare Eames Herman Miller Aluminum Group Lounge Chair and Ottoman Super Early!!!
Listed for sale is a 1958 Eames aluminum group lounge chair with ottoman. The lounge chair and ottoman both have Patent Pending stamps. Indicating that it was produced in the first year that the design was manufactured. It is in phenomenal condition for its age with original charcoal naugahyde and black enameled arms in perfect condition. The chair and ottoman are an original matching pair that are in the most iconic upholstered configuration with the charcoal naugahyde and black arms. It is also the taller, tilt/swivel version of this chair. Its mechanism still functions perfectly and shows no cracks or separations in the aluminum. The naugahyde shows little to no wear, aside from the front sides, which simply appear to be worm slightly more heavily. It has the original herman miller stamp imbedded within the aluminum seat bracket and reads"Patent ... morePending. This pair came from the office of a department head at Harvard University. The pair lived in the university office of this individual. If desired. This pair can be sent with provenance from the family that owned the set. Super Rare Eames Herman Miller Rosewood DCM's Dining Chairs Original Set Of Six
Listed for sale is an original and extremely rare set of Herman Miller Rosewood DCM's designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This set was purchased from the estate of the original owners and is in magnificent condition. The original owners had maintained the set and I was told that they were simply maintained as was instructed in Herman Miller's care guide. The grain is outstanding and bases still look great. Uniquely. This set carries Herman Miller's round white labels, indicating that they were made sometime between 1955 and 1960. The chairs have all of their original feet and are all labelled. Three still retain their white medallions, while all still have their stickers. The set is an extremely rare find and this set acts as an outstanding example. Additional pieces can also be found in my other items. Rosewood Finish appears ... moreto be excellent and throughout all six chairs. There are only a couple of nicks that had been addressed professionally at one point in time. The chairs really look phenomenal for their age. Shock Mounts The shock mounts are also completely original and are all holding up remarkably well. Deterioration does not seem to be taking place. Herman Miller Shell Chair Rocker Eames Bolted Gray This was originally a padded chair. I removed the padding and just bolted through to rocker base. Very cool looking. It has some superficial scratches on the chair. Very slight staining on the seat. Very cool. I also have the original aluminum group tilt base on ebay as well. There are tutorials online on epoxying the seat and gluing the classic rubber grommets on the bottom if you wanted a smooth original look it looks easy to do. I will just leave it to you to decide. Offered for your review and consideration is this very nice ORIGINAL VINTAGE HERMAN MILLER'PARCHMENT' COLORED FIBERGLASS SHELL SIDE CHAIR. WITH EIFFEL TOWER WELDED STEEL WIRE BASE ON PLASTIC PADDED FEET. It measures 30 3/4" in height x 18 3/8" in width(seat) x 10" in width at the top of the backrest. It's 17 1/2" to the top of the seat from the floor and it has a seat depth of 17. This vintage chair is in'as found' condition. It came as a pair. Along with another original vintage'smoke-grey' Herman Miller fiberglass shell side chair. That chair still has the affixed Herman Miller paper label attached underneath the seat. The Herman Miller paper tag has come off the parchment colored chair but the area where it was attached is obvious. As there is still glue residue. The original, completely ... moreauthentic, iconic Herman Miller Eiffel Tower welded steel wire base is in very good overall condition. With all welded joints intact and sturdy. The base still has its original factory silver spray paint and there is some rubbing and thinning of this paint film over the steel wire in a few areas. The Eiffel Tower base is also missing one white plastic padded, snap-on tabbed feet. These can be readily purchased online or directly from Herman Miller in Michigan. The other 3 plastic feet are present. The'parchment-colored' Herman Miller fiberglass shell is in good condition with very nice surface and clean edges. There is however. A 1" break coming in from the right edge right at the place where the fiberglass form turns upwards. It's not a fatal break but it's there and is the only real strike against the chair. The fiberglass shell is in otherwise very good condition, with all the other edges and surface being very clean. vintage Herman Miller Charles Eames CTM round Coffee table
Great find! This table was purchased along with a Herman miller gateleg and(2) DCM chairs that have been in the family since the 50's. Please see the listing of the gateleg table. The base is solid steel. I believe the top is ash? The condition is good for it's age. The table top has a small piece of veneer that has broken off from the bottom(pictured) its not on the top. The top was only clean with a damp cloth, no oils or cleanings solutions where used. The base could use a good buff.
