Herman Miller Eames Era Steel Frame Chair Orange Upholstered Marked
Here is a vinyl and upholstered steel frame chair marked Herman Miller in two locations. This chair is somewhat of an oversized chair- it is about 2 foot wide. The seat back is about 26" high and goes half way up the back of my head, and the seat depth is about 19 1/2" deep. The measurements of the chair around the base are about 25" x 22" The front of the chair is an orange color, and I believe it is vinyl. The back and underneath of the chair is all upholstered material, a orange/green very small tweed design. The chair is marked on the front of the frame with the Herman Miller logo and name, and is also marked underneath with a sticker that says inspected by Lloyd DeKoc(I think) and then Herman Miller. The front side of the chair has some small marks, pinpricks, and very very tiny slices and one spot(almost looks like ... morea cigarette burn) where the back meets the seat. The upholstery, though dirty, has no rips or holes in it. This chair is really in nice shape for its age, and needs a very good cleaning. It is very sturdy and quite heavy, I am not sure what the metal/chrome frame is made of, but it is a magnetic material. The black frame around the back of the chair is not magnetic, nor are the armrests. The chair will be disassembled for delivery and to save on shipping charges. Up for sale is an original fiberglass shell chair in a deep. Beautifully rich navy blue color designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. It is in great. Vintage condition, but it is used, so there are the usual small scratches. The underside grommets and other hardware are in good condition as well. The shell is structurally solid with NO cracks in the fiberglass. But there are four holes drilled in a straight line on the bottom of the chair, it was an upholstered chair and the vinyl was removed, so it may be appropriate to add a throw blanket or pillow on to the chair, but that's just my opinion. The chair has a Star base with a narrow mount configuration which you could swap out for narrow mount bases Rocker. The lower side with open shelves at the corner and the other with two drawers. The long side measures 65" long, 29.5" deep, and 28" tall. The shorter side measures 5' long including the upper level and 35.5" long before it tucks under the top section. The smaller lower section is 18.5" deep and 25.5" tall. It is in overall very good condition but there are some faint stains, shallow scratches on the top, and a couple stray paint marks on the sides. Thomas Newhouse desk by Herman Miller mid century style wood home office td1003r
Up for consideration is a gently used Herman Miller made. Thomas Newhouse designed home office desk. The desk has two half moon drop leaves. As the desk is seen in the first picture. It measures 70" from left to middle and is 65" from middle to right. When the left leaf is up, it is 94" from left to middle. The desk is 29" tall. There is also a rectangular leaf that comes off that is at the front of the desk. I'm really not sure what this is for. See this in picture 3 and 4. There is also a keyboard drawer that is seen not installed in picture 5. This desk is solid cherry wood and in very good condition. Very minor scratches and nicks but overall ready for the finest of homes. There is no major damage or flaws and the desk is very solid. Comes from a smoke free home. The desk come apart quite easily. Up for sale is an Amazing Pair of 2 Vintage Mid-Century Modern Herman Miller Mobile/Castors Eames Square End Aluminum Group Tables. These are MATCHING tables! One of the tables still has the"Herman Miller" sticker underneath. Each table top measures 20" x 20" and they are 25 1/2" tall. They have an aluminum(or chrome? base with 4 wheels/castors for easy movement. For their age. They are in pretty good condition. One of them has a very small size dark blemish on the top; it's very small, like a size of a freckle. Both table tops have some sporadic scratches on them; considering they were made for work use, they have faired pretty well!
