I have lots of Mid Century items listed and more on the way. This is a Herman miller shell chair in good condition with normal wear in high traffic areas I tried to take a close up on the left arm. It has the logo stamped into the bottom plus the paper label. All of the feet are good and working. This is sturdy I weigh 250 and it holds me no problem.

Herman Miller Aeron Chair Size B (needs minor repair, I made a video of it)
I am relisting this item because the woman who won this chair in a previous auction couple of weeks back paid for it. But did not come to pick it up. Therefore, I just refunded her money and am now relisting this chair. I am actually not certain of the size of this chair. I think it is a size B. Please see the yardstick in the video in the following paragraph to confirm. Frankly albeit anecdotally. The chair is comfortable for my 5 foot 2 inch mother, me at 5 feet 10 inches, and my 6 foot father. As you can see in this video of my a bolt sheared off. I suppose you can drill a hole with an electric drill. And then drive a replacement screw in but I am not sure. Also, the lumbar support(back support) shown in the video has some obvious damage. CONDITION: This extremely vivid 2nd production Salmon colored shell chair is in outstanding condition. Completely intact and fully functional. The fiberglass Zenith shell is super clean with no obvious chips or cracks with consistent vibrant translucent fibers with no apparent discoloring or fading. These early Zenith Salmon colored shells typically are faded to the point of being pale flesh pink due to the unstable nature of the Red Pigments used in the fiberglass molding combined with 60+ years of UV exposure. This fine specimen still retains a vivid amount of"salmon" vibrancy to the pigment and has an even tone to front, sides and back.obviously it was used very little and well protected from the elements of aging. The low Zinc X base is equally as clean and problem free with all 4 glides intact. This base sits much lower than the typical desk chair bases- slightly lower than a Rocker or LCW chair. One side arm rest shock mount needs to be replaced and two top cushion clips need to be replaced. Original upholstery has been replaced by quality white vinyl and white zippers. Weather or not the original cushion material was replaced with new is unknown but it does not appear to have any down feathers. You are bidding on a rare transitional period Charles and Ray Eames designed wood lounge chair(LCW) This chair has the 1947 era decal on the bottom. Indicating that it was made by the Evans company and distributed by Herman Miller while they were in Michigan. The chair is in very good shape- some normal wear and tear- small scratches and scrapes(mostly on the sides of the seat) see pictures. The 4 feet are there and appear to be original. The rubber mounts are there. And while they are completely together, seem a little dry- I don't know if I would trust anyone to sit on this without replacing them(parts are available on ebay) This is a very nice example of a classic and rare original chair! Vintage Eames Herman Miller RAR Fiberglass Mid Century Modern Rocking Chair 1959
Purchased from the estate of the original owner. This 1950's Eames designed for Herman Miller ivory fiberglass lounge chair/rocker(RAR) in amazing well cared for condition. Shell has no cracks or chips, mounted on zinc Eiffel base with birch runners. Shell has just the slightest patina giving it a rich slightly off-white color. Shock mounts are good, at one time one has been re-glued and additional nuts have been added on each mount. Chair is structurally solid/sound. Dated 1959. Displays well. E-mail if you have questions. The leather is brown and it is in very good condition for being used. There are no rips in leather. The veneer is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. This is a great reclining lounger and ottoman by Plycraft. This was Plycraft's answer to the Charles and Ray Eames Herman Miller lounger which had already reached iconic status in the 70's. In my opinion this chair is just as comfortable. I have seen at least a hundred of these over the past 15 years and this is one of the best. The leather is in near mint condition except for one spot seen in pic#7. One of the headrest attachment bars shows a small rust spot seen in pic#8. Here is a full set of Herman Miller. Charles Eames designed Lounge Chair and Ottoman wood parts. This auction is for the full wood set, no leather or hardware is included. The wood set is Walnut and they are all original Herman Miller parts. The seat and ottoman have the Herman Miller stickers on the bottom. This used set is in very good condition, all the shockmounts are glued on secure, all the snaps and clips are there and secure. There are two scratches, one on the upper back and one on the ottoman(shows in photos) No chips along any edge. The lower back has been fixed by the shock mount(shows in photo) looks like there was a small piece of veneer missing so it was filled in and sanded. Herman Miller Eames Swivel Chair - Green with White Fiberglass back
Chair has been used and show some wear. But no rips or tears and in nice condition. Stitching is great, no loose areas, and it turns easily. Overall very nice chair despite being used for several years. Green is very nice and bright, and not a color I have seen much. Base has some discoloring on the silver, but I image someone can give this chair a bit of TLC and it will look amazing! Has the Herman Miller imprint on the bottom as well.

These chairs are invincible and are one of the best, if not the best, in terms of ergonomic support; particularly when it comes to"sit rating" regarding how long one can be supported by the chair causing the least amount of strain. I have TWO identical adjustable HM's available. Like this one, and one other with fixed arms. There are times when I have had to work 16 hour days. And while I do get up to stretch, grab a bite, or refill my tea, I am planted in my Herman Miller chairs for several hours at a time and I can say honestly that it's more comfortable than sitting in bed. I have actually thought about fixing a pillow to the chair at times so that I could just pass out at my desk: Purchased brand new through a corporate channel these chairs have almost never been used at all.
