There may be a surface scratch here and there on the aluminum near the arm rests or on the back of the chair but where it may have contacted a wall. Desk or other chair at some point. For auction is this remarkable example of a Herman Miller Eames DKR chair! The chic wire chair comes with the original orange upholstered bikini seat cushions stating that they were made by Herman Miller Furniture Company at heir Washington Blvd location in Venice. California, and the iconic Eiffel tower stand. This is an early example, probably circa 1952. This is structurally in great condition with no broken welds. Does have some rust and paint chipping. Just needs a fresh coat of paint and would look amazing! I cannot remove the bikini cushions as they are tightly clamped on. This is an authentic. Vintage herman miller aluminum group management chair, in a beautiful blue upholstery and with chrome arms and a swiveling, chrome base on casters. Designed by Ray and Charles Eames back in 1958. The aluminum group line of chairs has become iconic, and was so successful that it had been in production ever since 1958. This particular chair is not height adjustable. But could be lowered about 1.5 inches if the casters were switched out for herman miller glides(which is an optional feature on this chair) It swivels and rolls smoothly. Mid Century Modern Herman Miller Eames Plywood Salesman's Sample Child's Chair
Incredible estate sale find! Molded natural plywood salesman's sample or child's chair in excellent vintage condition. I can't believe a child ever used it very much because of the wonderful condition. The finish is a beautiful clear natural blond wood which has a golden patina. May be Henry Miller or Eames. Not signed, but definitely in that style. My friend is an experienced dealer in mid century modern furniture and he has never seen this size. There is VERY slight warping as one leg does not touch the floor by about 1/2 inch. However. With just a few pounds of pressure on the seat, the chair becomes very stable. This warping is probably do to the construction. The only other minor issues I see is a small green paint line on the front of the back support and a small area of drips on the seat. Please look at the photos and ask ... moreany questions you may have. These issues are barely noticeable and could be removed by a restorer very easily. The chair measures 19 inches high. The seat is 11 1/2" wide and 10" high at the front and 9" at the back. If you chose to bid and are not satisfied for ANY reason. Vintage Herman Miller Eames Wire Upholstered Chair Rare 1950's Venice California
I had a very hard time finding another chair like this one! I finally found one included in a IBM typewriter add from 1955. I am not an expert by any means. But the chair appears to be in great shape for its age. One of the seams is coming undone in the x pattern of the seat. It isn't loose or anything but the stitches have just started to come out. I'm not sure what material it is made of but the only real wear on it is the bottom corners around where your knees would be. The chair spins like it was brand new with no noise at all. It is missing one of the feet on the base. The label on the bottom says LA-320 Venice, California. Please ask questions! I will do my best to answer them. I will package the chair very well so it will arrive to you safely and undamaged.

This is a set of 4 vintage original Eames DSS base manufactured for Herman Miller in a wide mount configuration. I HAVE MORE IN STOCK! Base is in original complete condition with all four original nylon glides. Base shows typical minimal oxidation. Very light surface rust, scuffs and marks typical for this age base, NO MAJOR FLAWS. Base can be Sold AS-IS in as found condition or I can have the frame professionally restored in any color you would like(sandblasted and powder coated) like you can see on the pictures of the green shells(this will be an extra $50 per base) Please contact me if you like to purchase more than one set or get the restoration option done. Vintage Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Shell Chair Zenith Eiffel Mid Century
For auction is this early vintage Herman Miller Eames fiberglass armshell chair in classic parchment with the galvanized wire eiffel base. Excellent vintage condition with only some very minor scuffs from normal use. No cracks. Chips, staining or integral damage. It is missing 2 of the plastic gliders/feet which can be easily sourced online. Eiffel base also does have some very minor surface rust on the bottom ends of 2 of the legs as shown in photos. Unfortunately, the original label has been removed. The color does appear a bit lighter in the photos. Chair will be dismantled and shipped in separate boxes. Please email with any questions.
