Perkins Brailler Braille Printer Typewriter Machine - Electric Embosser - Works
Perkins Brailler I have a Perkins Brailler that I am selling. This brailler appears to be functioning correctly. It has an electric embossing head. This makes the pressure required very light to type; it also makes the braille type more uniform. The once exception is the paper advance button sticks down. You can just pull it back up and it functions as it should besides that. All the other keys seem to work as they should without problem. There is some scotch tape on the keys that someone wrote numbers on for some reason. I left the tape on for now so the keys are not sticky. Please see the video to see condition. This"small portable typewriter" according to Brother™) is vintage 1980's(1984) I believe it uses technology similar to the 1982 EP-20. Which Brother™ describes as"the world's first and smallest battery-powered electronic personal printer. which incorporated a thermal transfer printing mechanism. The ribbon is in a small cassette, Brother™ Model 6030 cassette ribbons, which are available on eBay and Amazon.etc. There is a small screen. Up to 15 characters are visible as you type. The actual printing is several characters behind. So that you can correct a mistake before it is printed. The printing quality is actually fairly nice. Besides the 15 character display, it does not store data. It also has a simple calculator. It has a nice full size keyboard, yet is quite light and small. WORKING VINTAGE IBM SELECTRIC II 2 TYPEWRITER ELECTRIC MID CENTURY
Up for bid is a great vintage IBM Selectric II typewriter. This unit weighs nearly 40 pounds and measures approximately 20 inches long by 16 inches wide by 7 inches tall. The unit has been tested and it is in working condition. I was able to type out every key that I tried. There appears to be a good amount of ink remaining in the cartridges. Overall the unit is in excellent condition. The interior is a bit dirty and dusty from age but looks to be complete. All of the keys are present. The exterior is in great condition with only general light surface wear and scratching in places. I am not fully knowledgeable about typewriters. So please see the pictures for a better idea of condition.

Vintage 1969 Royal Apollo 10 Electric Typewriter
This is a Vintage Royal Portable Apollo 10 Electric Typewriter. Serial number 8753381. The typewriter was probably made in 1969. Many items of that era were named after the Apollo space flights. Apollo 10 was a practice mission May 26, 1969 in preparation for the moon landing of Apollo 11 July 20, 1969. This typewriter is a favorite of Tom Hanks who recognized the tribute to the space program. It is built and acts like a manual typewriter except the keys are move by a small motor so they strike evenly. I recovered this very unusual typewriter from a recent estate sale. I had it refurbished and cleaned by my favorite typewriter man. Mr. Moore has been fixing business machines since 1963 and he knows them well. The keys were aligned and the platen turned(smoothed) and then he cleaned everything. It has been checked out thoroughly and every key functions exactly as it should. It appears as if it has hardly ever been used. There is literally no wear. Just in absolutely beautiful condition.

Canon StarWriter 20 Word Processor Personal Publish System Electric Typewriter
Up for sale is a vintage Canon word processing system. The"Starwriter 20" It is used but was well taken care of and is still in good condition. It will come with the users guide and the tutorial disk. I did the following testing on this unit: Powered it on, found there to be no dead pixels on the screen, typed a couple sentences, and printed them out. It seems to be in good working order. There is currently ink in the unit but I have no idea how much is left. Check out the pictures to see exactly what is for sale. Let me know if you have any questions. This Smith Corona electric typewriter model SL500 5A(circa 1988-1990) has a cover that snaps over the top and a handle on the bottom for easy transport. The typewriter has a used ribbon and correction tape. Everything is in working order. Cover has some minor scuffs. But overall, is in good shape. For parts. Typewriter will need a new ribbon. Practically mint condition in appearance. The typewriter is loud when plugged in and does not operate as intended. Does not include extension for paper. This line of typewriters has been used by Isaac Asimov and Hunter S. Thompson. Selling this typewriter for half the price that I recently sold a working model for. Howdy! This is a nice looking IBM Correcting Selectric III Electronic Typewriter. This typewriter will turn on and acts like it wants to work but it doesn't. I cannot tell you whats wrong with it. So I'm selling as a repair/parts piece. Cosmetically, you will see some use scuffs and ink marks, but there is no structural damage.
