We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. There are some minor nicks and dings from use, but again, nothing too obvious or distracting. There is one screw cover that is missing on the back of the desk(see ... morephoto 10) The desk is sturdy and the screws can be tightened if they loosen. Antique Artists Drawing Table Easel Drafting Table 1882
For sale is this great antique Drawing Table. It was designed by E. Gleaves of Cortland NY. And patented Oct. 17 1882. Nice old patina on the oak. On one side shown in the pictures a piece of the cast iron must of broke a while back. This was remedied by a metal bar bolted on that now supports the iron adjustment for the larger table top. The larger top is 25" x 17 1/2" the smaller top is 18" x 12 1/2" The reason for the two sides was one was a working surface and the other was used to secure the object you were drawing. There was at one time a spring mechanism that would of gone in the holes of the smaller top. Both sides can adjust and the piece was made to be folded up and stored. It stands approx. 31" high. Vintage 1920-40 Keuffel Esser Drafting Architect Table Solid Oak With Birch? Top Here we have a very nice vintage 1920-40's era Keuffel Esser drafting architects table in solid oak with I presume a birch top board. The table measures 70.5" wide. By 36.5" deep, and stands 38" tall, though it can be lowered about 3" by removing the original oak blocks that fit into the bottom of each leg if desired. The table was made by Keuffel& Esser and is so labeled with their brass tag. There are also a number of other tags and decals applied, as this was used at Wright Patterson Air Force Base during or just prior to WWII. There are two drawers at top one wide and one smaller, as well as an oak Keuffel Esser four drawer file to the right side that is just mounted with a few screws. The table breaks down easily, and the parts ... moreare assembled with large nuts and bolts. The condition is excellent considering it's age and use, and save for minor blemishes to top and some ink stains, etc. to drawer it's ready to use. Of course if you want a perfect finish that would be up to you to do. I like things with some honest age and patina. Vintage Industrial Unique Ajusco Table Desk Work Lamp Articulating Drafting Rust
This lamp has a joint that looks like most Ajusco joints that allows the shade and socket to rotate 180 degrees in one axis. The shade has a nice wood handle for positioning the lamp. The lamp sits atop a gently curved post which can rotate in the base thanks to a thumbscrew. The lamp has a nice pull chain as well. Making it very handy for a drafting table, desk, display or work area. Rather than remove the oxidized look of the lamp, we preserved it by having our staff seal the lamp surfaces with vinyl sealer. RARE EARLY 1900'S FREDERICK POST CO. CAST IRON DRAFTING TABLE
HELLO BIDDERS- I LOVE IT WHEN I FIND THESE BEAUTIFUL PIECES AND HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PASS THEM ON TO SOMEONE WHO WILL ENJOY AND APPRECIATE IT! You are bidding on A BEAUTIFUL FREDERICK POST CO. CAST IRON DRAFTING/DRAWING TABLE. This unit dates to the early1900's and all of the iron is 100% original. The top at some point was replaced and a 1920's-30's Dietzen table top was installed. The top has a Dietzen tag on the corner. The paint is green mixed with rust and is really sharp.The pine top has mellowed really well and turned a deep rich honey tobacco color. There are compass holes all over the piece and in the corners where the compass was used a lot there are dig holes. I have had dozens of these old drafting tables and this is truly a rare and beautiful table. The colors on the base and top are perfectly aged. The height ... moreadjustment wheel and mechanism works as well as the day it was made and so does the tilt wheel. I usually restore these pieces but I did not want to touch this one because it has such beautiful patina and character. The table adjusts to a maximum height of 46" tall and the lowest setting is 32.5" tall. The top measures the full 60" x 44" They are usually cut down but this top is unmolested. EUC Vintage DRAFTING / CRAFT Table Hamilton w/ free stool
No defects. Looks great. Would be a nice addition to any drafting area or craft area. Table adjusts to different heights and has adjustable table. I am including a small wooden stool that was with it when we moved into our house. It is fairly clean and looks like it was well cared for. We inherited with the home we purchased. The previous owners were an artist and engineer but it mostly was used for artwork but shows very little wear. From my research it looks like it is from the 1930's collection by Hamilton company. The model# on the back of it says 49J1-J9005-64 as seen in the picture. There is a large plastic top piece that can be removed but I think has protected the wood. ANTIQUE PEDESTAL DRAFTING TABLE. OAK AND IRON, ADJUSTABLE Nice example of this pedestal drafting table. We think it's by Dietzgen. But don't yet find a maker's mark. The original oak top remains. Which is itself hard to find these days. Looks like it was given a black limed-oak finish, which together with the black Japanned cast iron looks pretty sharp. Looks like an artist worked at this table once, there's a bit of dusky blue along the bottom edge. All together, I thought this was a nice'lived in' look for this piece while staying clean& subdued and dark, so I've left it as is, just gave it a good cleaning and waxing. These pedestal drawing tables are absolutely fab. And getting very rare and pricey it seems. They are everything this great era sought to convey; classical solidity, extremely well-crafted classic ... moreforms but with all the ingenuity combined with the cast-iron glory that characterized the Victorian Industrial furnishings. The knobs are awesome, tightens in a bunch of different ways; height up& down, with or without swiveling, tilting, flat, etc. This table is eminently flexible for all kinds of different uses. And looks great in whatever position you choose. It can be lowered and leveled to be a great end table, or raised to be a stand, or tilted to be a great display for art books, prints, or your antique plate volume of Diderot's Encyclopedia. Or maybe a copy of the Restoration Hardware Sourcebook, just to show everyone you actually have the real thing, not a re-creation! We can ship this.
