This gorgeous antique drafting table has 6 drawers and is finished on all sides so its beauty can be appreciated all the way around. This would be an excellent addition to any studio or office space. Overall measurements are 36" wide x 27 3/4" deep by 40 3/4" high. the six drawers are 19 3/4" x 7 7/8" in their interior. The 4th drawer from the top has a small slice on the outside panel. But has been smoothed and does not deter from using the drawer. There is a side storage that is grooved for architectural drawings. The top raises and lowers as is needed. This table is a modern table- post 1950. This is the wrong category and that will be changed shortly. Thank you. Folded. This solid oak folding table is only 5 inches deep. It was custom made by a local craftsman. It stands 34" tall; it measures 30" x 35" Plus the handle. It weighs approximately 100 lbs! It uses four piano hinges and solid oak sides. It's all oak, and it looks like stainless steel on some of the hardware. The long bolts that hold the braces in place, however, are starting to rust. They are not stainless steel. If you want to pick it up, I will refund the full shipping/ handling charge. Believe me, I really don't want to ship this. It will be no fun to wrap. And I will have to drive it approximately 50 miles each way to the UPS center! The wood has scratches; the wood has little dings and chips; it's ... moreused, but it's so strong that it's good for practically anything. It also has some markings on it, and some paint. This finely crafted model is an exact depiction of an improvement in drawing boards that was patented on Aug. 22nd. 1876. The body of the model is made of brass with a square wooden base. Mayline Electric Motor Drafting Table
You are bidding on a Mayline professional drafting table. It has an electric motor to raise or lower(approx 19" drawing surface. Motor and switch are in working condition. The table tilts from almost(88-89 degrees) vertical to fully horizontal. Its counterbalanced mechanism is in working order. The surface is 37.5" deep by 60" wide with a utility wooden pencil trough. I have the cross-arm mechanism but I never used it so I can not attest to its functionality. I think I have one of the scales(not sure if I can find it) It also has two electric outlets on the back for accessories such as lamps. Lights.
