The following auction is for a vintage Olive Green Executive Office Chair. It is used and shows some wear. I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on it.So I am not sure who made it. The chair is a swivel chair on 4 legs with casters. The chair has some stains on the back and the seat. There is one on the back.But towards the cushion,where you sit.It looks like a coffee stain ran down it. I don't know if this will come out. There are also a few light marks and stains on the seat and back. There is There are no rips or tears on the back of the seat or the cushion. There is a worn spot in the bottom corner of the front cushion. Its not really a tear,it just looks like it is worn in that corner. The hardware on the desk is quite nice and seems to be hand cobbled as well. The drawers have dovetail joints- very good craftsmanship. The chair is a Bradington Young and I think it goes quite well with the desk. The chair has adjustable height. Swivel, and ability to lock it out or put in recline mode. Mid Century Drexel Mahogany Desk and Chair Set
This listing is for a mid century modern Drexel desk and chair set. Desk is mahogany and has a label in one of the drawers certifying it is'genuine mahogany' from the Mahogany Association. Inc. label is next to the Drexel stamp. All of the desk drawers are in good working order and are dove-tailed. There is a center drawer with a pen/pencil, etc. holder. This drawer has what appears to be an old ink stain(please refer to attached photo of this) The bottom drawer is a bit larger and has built in slats/ dividers for file folders. The desk top is very clean with very little wear to the original finish. Desk includes a glass top protector that was custom made for this piece. Glass top protector has a small chip that does not affect its purpose. The measurements of this piece = 50" long x 24" wide x 30" tall. The matching ... morechair is also mahogany with a thick vinyl seat in turquoise; appears to be original cover. Seat is in good shape with no rips or tears. Only other issue we observed is a chip to the mahogany on the lower left desk leg(please refer to attached photo of this) Overall, this is a nice, clean mid century set, that is solid and intact with loads of personality typical of the era. Vtg INDUSTRIAL OFFICE CHAIR Mid Century Modern machine age tanker swivel desk 50
Vintage Industrial Chair. Heavy duty steel frame design with deep gray(almost black) vinyl seat cushion& seat back. Covering is great on the back and shows some wear at the bend on the seat(please see photos) Covering is all original. Adjustable tilt on back support. Chair swivels around but I can't seem to get it to go higher and lower- I believe it is seized up and needs some grease or WD40 or something to get it loosened. Wheels are all 360 degree swivels and are in great working condition. All four legs have reinforced stainless steel plates on edges. Base is very heavy. I have been unable to find a makers mark on it. Very similar to Emeco. Goodform and Steelcase models. Very clean. Measures approximately 34" from top to bottom x 20" wide from side to side x 20" deep. Seat cushion height is 19.5" Seat cushion ... morearea is 19" wide x 16 1/2" deep. Antique wood desk swivel chair on casters
I don't know how old this chair is. My father always said he remembered it as a child; he did not know when his father got it. That being so. It would be at least 85 years old. The casters work smoothly and are original. No cracks in the wood or pulled screws. Sound joints. Solid hardware. The spring that tensions the back rest is in 3 pieces and I can't tell if that's intended or if it broke, though I suspect the latter. Tensioner still works, but seems I recall when I was a child that the backrest had more travel. Adjustable seat height. It's actually in remarkably good condition with incredibly few appearance dings. Pic shows the smudge of white paint on the seat front edge; and there are a few spatters of white paint on the seat. It probably would shine up almost to new, though that may not be the appropriate thing to ... moredo to an original piece that could be 100 years old. It is, of course, real wood-no composites. Maximum seat measures: 15 1/2" front to back; 15 5/8" side-to-side; 1 5/16" thick. Back measures about: 13 7/8" wide x 6 7/8" high x 9/16" thick. Backrest stem is about 19 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide, from 7/8"1 1/2" thick. Leg spread about 17 1/4" The close up of the caster shows you: a) we haven't cleaned it; b) casters have ball bearings; c) casters are sized to run on hard surface. I will ship via a 3rd party shipper-I take the chair to FedEx or UPS. You deal directly with them for packing and transport and payment of their services. It weighs about 24# probably would ship in a carton 20x20x20 about 30# depending on your instructions to the shipper. Any transit damage would be an issue to resolve with the shipper; my part is done when I deliver the chair to the shipper. No returns-the pics show you exactly what will be delivered to the shipper.
