Looks like they lost $ almost every quarter but again it was a Cash business back then. The binder is in great shape with no holes or tears on the vinyl. I didn't count the inside sheets but they are 1 1/4" thick. There are a lot of over size sheets that fold in. One sheet has a small tear& some have corner crease or the corners are still folded in. RARE Rockola binder with NEVER SEEN model 1444 "Super Magic Glow" + Mystic Music
This is an old Rockola binder that I picked up from an old Jukebox Operator. Apparently he was trying to chronicle the Rockola Jukebox with photos. Some photos were photocopies of brochures or other photos. But some of the photos in the binder are PROFESSIONAL 8 BY 10 GLOSSY PHOTOS. Photographs include the 1935"Model A" Rockola's first jukebox) The 1937"Imperial" the 1428, 1434, 1455, 1452, the NEVER PRODUCED model 1444"Super Magic Glow" and the seldom seen Rockola"Mystic Music" Looking closely at the model 1444 you can see that this IS a real jukebox that WAS produced. But who knows what happened to it. There are no known examples of a model 1444. Doesn't get more rare than that. Please note that this is also for sale in my shop. The binder is still in good condition in the sense that it is still strong and will last a long time. However there are grease marks on the front right side. The part number is written in sharpie on the front. There is also a piece of duct tape on the back with the part number. The duct tape also partially covers the brand name on the spine. On the back there are some grease marks as well. The inside has some tape on the cover and also some bend marks. As far as what is on the inside there are some dirt marks on the pages but all the print is neat and legible. Please ask all questions before placing purchase.
