For auction is this vintage Motorola Test Set with original owners manual. This is from my dad's shop and he was the original owner. The date on the chart is 1947. But I believe that he probably purchased it in the early 1950s. I know nothing of this type of electrical equipment. I hope that you can see what you need in the photos. There is also a box of various cables for connecting the current units to the device being tested. I have been told this would be ideal for insulated and molded case breakers to be tested without removing from the board. Units can be removed from the cart and carried to job sites through tight spaces, or up and down stairs. Instructions included. Can put out max 2000 amps. This is a 400 volt unit, max 480 volt, single phase. On the front of the item it has a little graph to measure watts and that is at the top of the front of the item. Towards the bottom are two knobs and two switches the two knobs are on each side of the front of it and in the middle of the knobs are the two switches. The big knob on the left has RF Set above it and towards the bottom of the knob it has L and H on the right side of the bottom of the knob. The big knob on the right side of the item has a bunch of numbers on the left ... moreside of it and those numbers are from the top number to the bottom: 10. 100, 500, and then it says MOD, SWR. The two switches in the middle of the two big knobs say things as well. The switch on the left says Set at the top of it and REV at the bottom while the right switch says CAL at the top and MOD at the bottom of it. On the very bottom of the front of this device it says DOSY and then on the other side of the very bottom it says PM 500 TS. On the back of this device it has two spots where you can hook two other items up to this device and the one on the left says Transmitter and the one on the right says Antenna.
