You are bidding on a custom modern Hollywood 7* mouthpiece. This one was customized by Phil Barone himself! He lowered the baffle and scooped out the sidewalls and chamber to give it a livlier. Fatter tone. It really sings, and it plays great altissimo and the low notes down to subtones are fantastic. You can use this for rock or jazz, and I have. Played this with my jazz duo and with some members of George Clinton's band in the same week. It's in pretty good shape. But there are scuffs on the bite plate and into the gold plating. It can be replaced by Phil for a nominal charge if it bothers you. The price reflects the condition. This is one of the great and most versatile mouthpieces of all time. Like a great Link but with more power when needed.
