Up for your consideration is this TMNT Mirage Studios Eastman& Laird's#1 3rd Printing comic in great condition. All pages are white with no yellowish tinting whatsoever.a really nice gradeable TMNT#1 from February 1985. As mentioned in the defect subset box. Certain pages in the middle of the comic have paper imperfections at the bottom edges. To me it seems as if these paper errors were made in the manufacturing process, because there is no damage whatsoever to both front and back covers in the same areas where the pages have these errors at the bottoms of the pages. There are no creases, tears, foxing, writing to any page on either front and back cover. Back cover has certain white spots, but I am not certain if this the normal coloration or not.I am not an expert in the comic field or TMNT collectibles. Other sub headlines include"Survivors of raider admit loss" The Kormoran is not named) Careers of ships officers" and"Sydney's brilliant war record" On the reverse of the first page are"Biographies of South Australian men on the Sydney" There is also a full list of members of Sydney's crew, including their home state. The page is particularly fragile and has various tears along folds. It is, nevertheless, a fascinating historical item Postage within Australia is $4.50

What you see in the pictures is a 4 Issue Mini Series: From the Pages of Superman"Supergirl" 1 Feb-4 May 1994. This set was a prelude to the long running series that followed the next coming year. This Supergirl was the protomatter from another earth. These comics are in good condition and have been read but carefully handled. The comics come from a smoke free environment. I have not put a grade on these because I feel it would not be fair to the buyer by giving false impressions. The comics are not mint and does show some flaws but it is up to the eye of the beholder. The pages are intact and considering the age of these comics that is pretty good from something that was owned since 1994 which makes these 18 years old. These come from one owner. To an extent, her character—was revised in 1986 when writer Frank Miller and artist David Mazzucchelli published Batman: Year One, a revision of Batman's origin. She works as a prostitute in order to survive and wants to break away from her abusive pimp(and former boyfriend) She witnesses his crimes and, because of an event that occurs to her sister, fears for her sister's life and begins to study self-defense and martial arts. Her teacher inspires Selina to become more than what she has been and she realizes that prostitution is no life for her, or for Holly. Holly Robinson is a young runaway who idolizes Selina. But is much too young to be on the streets as far as Selina is concerned. Selina shares her home with Holly after she takes her in. As the story ... moreprogresses Selina is led to a bit of burglary, she dons a catsuit costume that her now former pimp gave to her the day that she told him she was out of the business. After costuming herself so as not to be revealed, she gets a taste for burglary and begins to do it in more of a Robin Hood way than an actual thief. This is, however, how she runs into Batman. After a small confrontation, she begins to be inspired to stay in her costume and become the"Catwoman" after seeing Batman in action with others.
