This is a vintage B&K 420 Cathode Rejuvenator Tester CRT TV Tube Tester made by B&K Mfg division of Dynascan. It came from the stock of a radio. Cd, ham, electronic repair shop that we recently bought out. It is in very good condition. This is used to test and rejuvenate TV CRT cathode ray vacuum tubes. It can test for leakage, emissions and shorts and has two rejuvenate functions with a dynamic intensifier. This would be very handy if you are restoring vintage tube television sets. The case has very minor wear from use. The handle is in good shape and a couple corners on the bottom of the case have some minors chips. The instrument panel is in excellent condition with very minor wear. No manuals or other cables are included. Here is a nice vintage Knight Kit KG-600C Tube Tester. Made by Allied Radio Corp of Chicago Illinois USA made back in 1969. The Tester was found with the original assembly manual and tube chart, is in used very good condition with some wear as pictured, and 1 of the knobs does not tightened up on the shaft and the rubber on the clip for the connecting the top metal of the tube has dried out. Here is a nice and fully working Lafayette Tube and Transistor Tester. I repaired and calibrated this unit. Then I used it to test some tubes and transistors. It is fully working. Even the bipolar transistor test function works great. All the switches and controls work well and the sockets are good. This tester comes complete with a copy of the manual and test charts so you will be able to use this unit to test your tubes and transistors. This emission tube checker will test a large number of tube types. Here is a short list of rock tubes people need to test nowadays: 6CA7(EL34) 6L6, 6BQ5(EL84) all the 12A_7 family(12AX7, 12AT7, 12AU7, etc. ECC8_ just like the 12A_7) and many, many others. This checker has the following sockets: Large base tubes: 8-pin octal& loctal. Miniatures: 7. 9, 9+1, 10(Not many testers can handle the 9+1 or 10-pin ... moretubes. Novars(bigger 9-pin tubes) Compactrons(bigger 12-pin tubes) I tested all of the above tubes with this tester except the Decal and the 9+1 10-pin miniatures because I don't have those tubes. But nothing about how to use the transistor testor. I added a page to the manual that gives instructions on how to test transistors. Also in the manual is the schematic which will help you maintain the proper operation and accuracy of this tester. This tube tester is a newer compact. Counter top style instrument. It's light and small so you can easily get it down from the shelf when you need to test some tubes. As you can see from the pictures, this unit is in good condition. I found two chips in the case that are shown in the pictures. Other than that, the case is made out of Bakelite so unless you manage to crack it or chip it, it's almost indestructible. a GOOD FRIEND'S father was very high up in a military function and had this. It was handed to me for testing old amplifiers. It is in better condition than any I've seen. All functions seem up to speed. I have not been through a full diagnostic but like I said. The unit is pristine. You crack this juggernaut open and catch a whiff of WWII INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TOTAL IS 144.44 applied at invoice The TV-7 series are built like tanks and seems to me. To be one of the best designed tube testers ever made. They are based on a Hickok design and are great for testing real old tubes prior to WWII. It will test many, but not all, tubes made after WWII. They come in different models like the TV-7/U, TV-7A/U, and the TV-7B/U. The TV-7D/U is a little different than the others with a little bit more range to test tubes. The TV-7D/U is also collected ... moreby the audio tube folks so they command higher prices. An important note here is that the TV-7 does not test most sweep tubes. That will require a tube tester of a later design since the TV-7 pre-dates sweep tubes. It will, however test the more common ham tubes like the 6146, 807, 6L6, and 811A. Its does use a 0-120 quality scale rather than reading true GMhos, which seems to be a major hangup with some people. There are translation tables out there to overcome this.

This is the version between the 600A and 600B tester. It has all the functionality of the 600B with the silk screen that resembles the 600A. What's important is that it has sockets for 9-pin Novar& 12 pin Compactron tubes so it will test a lot of tube types. Here's the list: Large base tubes: 4. 5, 6, 7& 8(octal) pin tubes. Miniatures: 7. 9& 9+1(Not many testers can handle the 9+1, 10-pin tubes. Loctals. Novars. Compactrons. Nuvistors. Very Nice TV-7-U Military Tube Tester New Tube Set Voltages Checked Extras
I am selling a a very nice TV-7-U military tube tester with a copy of the military manual. Supplemental Data, and Voltage Alignment Instructions. I picked this one up from a local HAM operator who has had it for a long time and recently had it gone over by another tech buddy in his HAM club and both tubes were replaced and it checked out AOK. It has not been sent off to have a high price alignment but I have every reason to believe it is working properly. I have tested a number of tubes including 6L6 and many audio tubes and I am getting the readings I would expect comparing them to my Hickok and Triplett testers. The case has a dent or two but the paint is very nice and the inside is clean and all sockets are tight. Has a socket saver in the octal socket. The tube chard book is nice and I am including a copy of the military manual and supplemental ... moredata and voltage alignment data. I do not see any tube socket adaptors that may have been with it but it certainly tests the bulk of the tubes you will test and if you are looking at this listing you know the value of a very nice TV-7-U. B&K Dyna-Quik Model 700 Tube Tester - w/ Manuals - Excellent Condition
The unit is in incredibly good shape and clean. It appears as if it's hardly ever been used. I purchased the unit pictured and some vintage stereo equipment from an older gentleman who was moving and downsizing his collection. He was kind enough to take the time and demonstrate with a few different tubes that the unit was in prime working condition. I was planning to start tinkering around with tube amp repair. But I just haven't had time so this beauty must go. I'd rather someone get some use out of it than have it set in my closet. It comes with the original tube chart and a photocopy of the operating instructions. Since this is an older electronics item it is being sold as-is. No refunds. 1930s Triplett 183-SC Tube Tester / Combination Tester WORKS

Scratches, and chipped paint. The screws that hold the chassis into the case and the bottom feet are missing. The handle is taped and may not be original. The octal plug on the set analyzer cable has a missing locating key, but you could replace it with a plug taken from an old metal tube. The tube chart is present, and the tube tester portion works. The manual is present, but I have not tried the set analyzer or VOM sections. It checks 4, 5, 6, and 7-pin tubes, 7-pin miniature, as well as octal and loctal tubes. It also tests two types of early sub-miniature tubes. Overall. It is in fair cosmetic condition and the tube tester works. Military TV-2C/U Tube Tester TV-2 300B KT88 6L6 EL34 Must See
This is a very nice Military TV-2C/U tube tester made by Elion Instruments Inc. This is the cleanest TV-2C/U I have seen. And I have seen a lot. It is partially restored as noted below. It has not seen much use judging from the excellent condition. The TV-2C/U is the more modern of the TV-2 series and is built like a tank. Switches and controls are tight, snap into place, and are not worn out. It was purchased direct from the Military. Serial number is 91. I tested this set and it is working as seen from the photos. Notice the 6L6G, KT88, and 6L6 reference tube under a test. All meters are working and are not sticking. The bias, plate, screen, filament, etc, can be adjusted. The 6L6 reference was purchased from Daniel Nelson and tested 42 or 5250 uMohs. Notice the 6L6 reference tube tested 87% This is about 5220 uMohs(6000 x.87) This tester ... moreincludes spare fuses, a spare lamp, a spare 83 tube, and a spare 6X4W tube. The roll chart works very well. The TV-2C/U uses 2 transformers. One, for the filaments, and one for the plate, screen, etc. Actually this tester is not hard to use, once you get familiar with all the settings and meters. This will test 4, 5, 6, 7 prong, 7 pin, 9 pin, octal, loctal, acorn, sub min 7, sub min 8, sub min 8 long pin, and transmitting 7 pin tubes. I can email pdf files of the manual and tube settings if desired to the winning bidder. I can also email an excel spreadsheet with over 2400 tube settings. This will test the 300B, KT88 tubes, and thousands more. All filter capacitors have been replaced with new stock. All old carbon resistors were replaced with new and modern resistors. The plate and grid lead wires were replaced. I never drill holes and like to keep the chassis looking original. Tester may need some more checking out, adjusting, etc, due to age. Knight KG-600 Tube Tester- Checked& Calibrated- HAM Here's a nice. Clean and properly working Knight KG-600 tube tester. This model was also known by its stock number as the"83YX142. The Knight KG-600 series of testers. Like the Eico 625 and 628, and the Heathkit TC-1, TC-2, TC-3, IT-21, IT-17 and IT-3117 all used the Triplett designed circuit made famous in their model 3413 tube tester. In fact, the test data for all these tube testers is generally interchangeable. This makes for a good sanity test if you think your tube data setting may be wrong(which it occasionally is) Just look up the setting for one of the other testers and use it for comparison testing! The Knight KG-600 series of testers was a bit unique. However. By using separate filament and high voltage secondary windings on the power transformer, instead of a single ... morewinding as in other testers, Knight was able to add a gas test, and was able to do so without adding any extra components. This gas test feature is unique to the Knight KG-600 series. None of the other manufacturers of similar testers had it. As these testers were intended to be constructed by persons who may not have access to calibration equipment. Allied Radio included a calibration control for the Line Adjust function only, but made no provision for calibrating the measuring circuits, relying instead on the inherent accuracy provided by using close tolerance components. Proper calibration of these testers requires checking all the components in the measuring circuits, including the meter, and ensuring they are within tolerance. This has been done. Out of tolerance components have been replaced with modern, more stable ones, and this instrument is working properly on all ranges. I've owned many tube testers of most all makes and types. Vintage Heathkit TT-1 Tube Tester Project
I have an older Heathkit TT-1 Tube Tester for sale. The case of the tester is in somewhat poor shape. Overall it's a desirable unit that would make a nice project. Case is coming apart on the edge. Hinges are loose. Please look at the closeup photo. I don't know much about testers, so I can't say if you can simply re-drill those hinge holes and re-fasten, or what. The material of the case is also pretty rough- faded, dirty, etc. Tester is untested. I wouldn't know where to begin. Panel is dusty and dirty. But the unit looks complete. It's somewhat loose from the case itself- see photo how I lifted it up out of the case a bit. I don't know how it's supposed to attach or whether this is typical. I see it as an issue, could be due to the case not being so great. I'm sure it would need to be gone through- tested, ... morecaps replaced, calibrated, whatever it needs. It's a project- don't expect it to work. Has several manuals with it. I'm sure others can be found online to print off. It's really heavy. Came out of the estate of an old electrician who also moonlighted as a TV repair guy. First and foremeost, I know virtually nothing about vacuum tubes from vintage devices, let alone testing them. There is no manual included with tester. I only had one old radio in the house. So I removed the tube, plugged it into a tube port that fit the pin profile. turned the unit on, and flipped a couple dials til I got it to light. So, there is functionality. very possibly fully functional, but there's no way for me to demonstrate that, or warrant it. I attached a YouTube Video so you can see the unit in action. Hickok 6000A Tube Tester/Checker Works Well and Nice
This is a working Hickok 6000A Tube tester. It's in pretty nice condition overall. Outside has the usual scrapes and tears, inside has far less blemishes. The meter lens is cracked as seen in pics but does not interfere with operation and looks worse in the pic than in person, the grid cap lead has a chip out of the side but works as it should. The handle was broken but repaired with a super strong aircraft glue and is holding solid, at the same time I reinforced the inside of the box with aircraft glue and it is nice and solid. The corners have loose fabric that will probably glue down nicely but I don't have glue to suit that purpose. Tube Tester, Sylvania 96 Socket, NoN Working/Parts
Very Clean unit for the late 70s. Model CM16549 Chart is in perfect working order 96 socket faceplate is clean and all sockets look pretty good, pulled faceplate and as you can see the wiring is in perfect shape, unmolested other than the power cord inside bypassed to eliminate the back light. Cord needs replacing and have not the time to look into the repair of this unit, priorities have changed in retirement. So here is how I bought it and I will pass along the same deal, i will list at $285 and shipping is on me. Lower 48 sale only, local pick up is fine also, it will likely cost me the better part of a hundred to ship this but if your looking for a tester in better condition you will be paying a lot more.

Supreme or Hickok TV7/U Test Set Antique Radio Tube Tester
From a closed stereo/hi fi store comes this Supreme TV7/U tube tester. The tester does work when powered up. There are no manuals or test leads but these are available online. Using the chart from a TV7/U Hickok tester and testing a 6F6 tube the readings were within 4 or 5 points being the same. The meter glass is clean the movement is smooth and precise in its action. The control knobs are all present and in good condition and the controls turn smoothly. The panel is clean as seen in the photos. Some of the screws that hold the unit in the case at the edges are missing. The outer paint on the case is scuffed and scratched a bit and there are a few very minor dents but no major damage or corrosion. Please see all the photos as they give the details. nice. Restored Hickok 539A the Caddilac of mutual conductance lab-grade tube testers. If you are looking at this, you know what it is and how nice it is! This one has been nicely cleaned up with most of the tube sockets replaced with brand new sockets(4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 7, 8, octal) and the others replaced with very good but used sockets. All resistors checked and replaced were needed, and caps replaced as well. Calibrated, this comes with a copy of the users manual, and has been rewired for safe operation with a modern 3-prong AC plug. Please feel free to ask questions.

ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND OTHER DATA Features: Versatility: The Dyna-Jet Model 747 tube tester checks over 99% of all vacuum tubes in general use in television receivers. Radios, and audio equipment. Over 2500 tube types are listed in the tube chart. Fast“Jet-Check” Testing: Most of the popular television and radio tubes can be checked on the“Jet-Check” section, which requires setting only the HEATER and SENSITIVITY controls before testing can begin. Programmed Testing: All tube types which cannot be tested in the“Jet-Check” section can be given the same type tests in a separate programmed section. A program switch for each pin of the ... moretube sets up the test circuit. Such programmed testing means the instrument is obsolescence proof; all new tube types that are introduced can be tested. Dynamic Testing: Amplifying tubes in either the“Jet-Check” or programmed section are given a true dynamic mutual conductance(Gm) test. Diodes and rectifiers are tested for emission. Test results are reliable, even for high voltage regulators. A large, easy-to-read BAD-GOOD meter displays the test results. High Voltage Regulators: A special dynamic test has been designed into the 747 to properly test high voltage regulator tubes with proper plate current. Some competitive testers destroy tubes with high current emission test, while others test with insufficient current which results in all tubes testing good. This special dynamic test injects a signal voltage to the grid and another much higher voltage applied to the plate. After extensive set testing and circuit design we now have a test that separates the good tubes from the bad. Shorts Test: A single pushbutton shorts test checks shorts or leakage between elements. Leakage paths up to 1 megohm will light the SHORTS lamp and leakage as low as 1/2 microampere can be detected

Navy Dept. TV - 10/U Military Tube Tester - Test Set. Electron Tube
This is a Navy Department 1960's TV- 10/U Test Set. Electron Tube. The label states this tester is made for the Navy Dept. Bureau of Ships. The tester was made by the Forway Industries. I picked up this tester when I bought a collection of radio tubes. I plugged in the tester and it lit up so I presumed it works. The tester shows a little wear tothe rubber seal( a chip out of one corner) See photos for condition. Shipping cost $40.00 to continental US.

Hickok Model 539A True Mutual Conductance Tube Tester - No Reserve
Here for your consideration is a Hickok Model 539A True Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This is one of the best Tube Testers ever made. This one was well used and was probably the service call tube tester as the cabinet has quite a few scrapes and nicks that are now covered by Black Duct Tape. But the cabinet did a nice job of protecting the tube tester. This large 19” x 17” x 8” tester has 9 sockets and covers 4 pin, 5 pin, 6 pin, 7 pin, acorn, octal, loctal, 7 pin miniature, and 9 pin miniature. It has tube socket savers in the octal, 7 pin miniature, and 9 pin miniature sockets. I took this to my Tech friend Tom, and he replaced the pilot lamp and the 2 electrolytic capacitors. This should be ready for years of use.
