Vtg Cast Iron Brass Honey Pot Cape Cod Fire Starter and Wand Fireplace Lighter
This vintage fire starter measures approx. 7-1/4" tall(not including handle) x 6" wide x 5" deep. It has a 4-1/2" top diameter and the handle has a 4-1/2" drop. It is black cast iron in the shape of a honey pot with a golf ball divot pattern between raised horizontal bands. There are 3 cast iron feet descending from the pot. It has an aluminum lid with hole in the side to accommodate the wand. The lid at one time had a light brass colored finish which can only now be seen on the inside. The wand measures approx. 7" long with a worn brass colored finish. There is some rust on the handle. The stone measures approx. 2-1/4" in diameter x 2" tall. This is a vintage front cover for an old RCA radio of some type. It has ON-OFF. Record Volume, Soft- Loud, Radio-Record. It measures about 7 1/2 x 3" is cast iron, 4 small nail holes for mounting& rust as in the pictures. It was found in a barn at an estate sale.

The pump is untested and its working condition is unknown, we assume it needs new leather/gasket parts at the least. The pump measures about 20" in overall length. Best Gilded Library Book Bible Music Stand Cast Iron Oak Victorian Pat. 1895
Although I have only come across a few of these stands over the years. This one is BY FAR the best one I have owned. As it is presently configured. This book/music stands measures 44 inches tall and is a 16 x 16 inches at the foot. The finish is the original gilded finish. Which has a warm rich patina and is mostly complete. Of course there are areas that have worn more than others over the years, just a testament to a previously used and loved item. I believe the two quarter-sawn oak tablets at the top have been refinished at some point in the past and each presents very well. One could say striking in appearance. The legs have an ornate incised design running down each leg. And each leg does have the original metal caster at the bottom. Very easy to roll on a hard surface. In the center is a cast iron“basket” Complete and free from any ... morebreaks or repairs, retains most of the original finish and is a nice decorative element that also doubles as a storage area for addition books or sheet music. The center pole can be adjusted for height. And the angle of the wood tablets can also be adjusted. The mechanism underneath has a patent date of 1895, and is complete, free of any repairs and retains original authentic patina. One will notice a partial label underneath one of the oak tablets. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE VINTAGE ABRAHAM LINCOLN BOOKENDS– 1905 to 1915 Measure approximately 3 3/16” high by 2 5/16” wide by 1 ¼” deep For their size. This pair of bookends is quite heavy. Although it appears they have been painted with a dark brown color. There are indications to me that the metal underneath is probably cast iron. As you can see by the photos. Someone has scratched the back of one of the bookends in an attempt to possibly determine the underlying metal. The scratch areas show that the underlying metal appears to look more like cast iron than it does bronze. However. When I do a magnet test, the metal is not attracted to the magnet and this leaves a small amount of room to believe that these may be bronze. These bookends have some minor paint loss in a few places but otherwise are in excellent ... moreoriginal condition– including what appears to be the original cloth on the undersides of each bookend.

Original 1911 Cast Iron Sign-Joliet Bridge & Iron Company, Joliet, Illinois
This 3" X 9.5" plank of iron or cast iron was covered in dirt. And barely discernible. The little ring came with it, but I couldn't find a hole where it belonged, so I it's just there. I simply washed it in soap and water, and this is what appeared. I believe the company was founded at the turn of the last century, and this is marked 1911, so I imagine it was for a building or a gate. Whatever it was for, it is certainly a piece of history, for Joliet and for Illinois. They built a lot of bridges! It is definitely AS IS. The photos are indicative of condition. In response to a savvy inquiry. I had to take a second look at this old favorite. Now I am not sure if this is an A C Williams. I have seen it listed as a Williams. An Arcade and a Kenton. Close examination shows it is an early repaint so I have priced it accordingly. A nice example of a classic cast iron coupe.NOW AT A LOWER PRICE THAN MY ORIGINAL LISTING. It measures 5" in length. Vintage Collectible Cast Iron Ice Wagon with Horse
This is an antique cast iron piece. It is a Horse Drawn Ice Wagon. The wagon is red with black wheels and the horse is white. It is approximately 7 1/4 inches long. 2 3/4 inches high and 2 inches wide. The wagon alone is 3 1/2 inches long and the horse is 3 3/4 inches long. It is in good condition and still in good coloring. Even though this is listed as a toy I would not purchase for a young child to play with due to the fact that it is cast iron and it may have lead base paint on it. It is meant for a collector piece.

Vintage LOUIS XV MANTEL Ornate Electric Cast Iron Victorian Style Clock. Color is an off white. Ivory and yellow and light brown. Gold Ornate Face with a glass cover. It has some scratches, paint chips, needs to be cleaned it's a little dusty, it also has a casting crack, look at pics. The back leg has been glued back on at some time. It is a real cool clock the prongs are the same size if you plug it in upside down the clock's second hand will go backwards or counter clockwise, its really strange. But if you plug it in right, the second hand does go clockwise, it does work well. It is approx. 11"ht, 5 1/4"wide and 4"depth. Sold as is.

It could be cosmetically restored or not as desired. This could be mounted on the back of a Door as in a Shop scenario. Or on a Wall outside or inside as a Doorbell, it could work by the natural movement of the Door opening, by being operated by hand, or with the addition of a pull Chain or Cord.
