Excellent antique dental drill. Has a patent date of March 17 1903. Has pictured cord that is knotted in a couple of spots and does not fit around wheels. When the top wheel is spun you can see/feel the cable spinning at the other end near the hand piece. But the inner part of the hand piece(where the bit would go) does not spin. I am not sure and make no guarantees of the potential or ease of refurbishment. The wheel turns nicely when the pedal is manipulated, and as a whole the unit seems like it would function well from pedal to end of cable with a belt attached. Weighs 23 lbs and stands 55" tall. Measurements are approximate. The piece will be shipped in 1 box, but 3 pieces as the crossbar and cable, center vertical shaft and the engine part seperate easily. This oak stool is in very good condition for it's age. I am thinking turn of the century from it's design. I love it's design. The curved legs and wood foot rest.It swivels and is 31" down and 35" up. You need to do a lifting spinning motion with the seat to get it to rise. It can actually go a little higher. But I didn't want it to spin out totally. The seat is wood underneath, but has been recovered with a piece of leather. original horsehair underneath* Old seat was totally worn. There have been a couple of repairs done, but it is solid. Legs are 21" across-foot to foot. There are trusses built in the cross braces at the bottom, 10th picture shows. I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship it. Not sure what it's weight will be once packed, weighs 12 pounds as is. The small round tray measures 6 inches in diameter and is marked Warmisham London. It appears to be made of either copper or brass. or quite possibly brass coated copper. it is hard to tell(please see pictures for your own judgement) On the bottom. It is marked with a'3' The larger scoop measures almost 9 inches long, 7.5 inches wide, and about 2.5 inches deep. It is marked'33' on the bottom. The scale itself measures about 14 inches long and 6 inches tall. Rare cast iron brass columbia cash register candy store size
Old cast iron cash register. The only marking I could find on it is the cast drawer front that says Columbia. To me it looks like it needs a total restoration. All the flags will need to be repainted. The keys are all missing the rings ard markers. The mechanism works but the drawer wont open on its own. I did a little bit of searching but I couldn't find the Columbia brand or this exact casting pattern. I am sure someone else knows what this is. Unpacked weight is 45 pounds. Antique Cast Iron Andirons Log Dogs Key Shape w/ Feet - Wayne No. 2 Goldsboro NC
Up for bid is a pair of Antique Cast Iron Andirons. They have a great classic key shape design. With an added touch of detail that make the feet look like lion feet. These were made in Goldsboro. North Carolina and are quite heavy. The front can unscrew from the log holder to make for easier shipping. They are cast iron, but have some sort of brass colored finish that looks like paint. These would be a great addition to your fireplace and would go with a traditional or more modern design. Approximately 13 1/2" high x 19" long.
