Vintage 1940s? Monarch PATHFINDER Price Gun Label Tag Ticket Inventory This vintage machine seems to be working( and comes with both print trays and all the movable/removable lead printer’s type. It’s No. P-30368. There are a couple of marks and rubs commensurate with age. But as you can see in the pictures it seems pretty easy to set up and use if you choose to. I didn’t actually print anything with it because I don’t have whatever type of ink or pad it uses, but the crank seems to move the carriage and everything moves and seems to feed correctly. To be clear, I believe this to be working, but did not actually see finished printed labels. It makes a striking display also. The finish is in very good shape as are the graphics and the colors are still nice and vibrant. There’s something to be said for the original honest patina of use. But ... moreI’m sure it would clean up more with a soft cloth and the investment of a few minutes. I’ll let that up to you, though, as I think I would probably keep it the way it is. The printer’s type alone is amazing too. Here is a great example of a previous era’s technology and the fact it’s all still here and in place makes this machine potentially usable instead of just a collectible. For some reason the camera flash shifted the color a little and makes it look a little more red than it is. So I included shots each way. I had to use the flash, though, to show some of the details. Please see the pictures for a more complete description or in case I’ve missed or forgotten to mention something, and please don’t hesitate to ask for more pictures if you can’t see something. I’m happy to help, but perhaps not the best photographer. The machine makes a wonderful collectible. But if you don’t need to make too many labels daily you probably could turn a few heads in the shop or office and perhaps use it too. You might want to take a Q-Tip to the roller to eliminate that tiny extra mark if it bothers you, but it’s fine just the way it is too. For some reason the camera flash shifted the color a little and makes it look a little more red than it is. So I included shots each way. I had to use the flash, though, to show some of the details. An Absolutely Gorgeous Antique Flapper style Cloche Hat. Varied shades of color and materials. Of which I am no expert. Dark Brown background seems to have wiggly copper lines thru it. Metallic gold trim sewn around the cap in no special order. Two bands around the bottom I think might be made of taffeta and do show wear. Bands could be removed and replaced if desired. Trimmed at the bottom with a gold metallic brocade border. The Beautiful Art Deco style two part hat pin is filled with citrine. Amber or topaz stones, again I am no expert on them. Whisky Silver Plated Liquor Decanter Bottle Label Tag & Gin on Chain Embossed
The Whisky one is marked Silver Plated England and is better quality than the other one. It is 2 ½” wide by 1 5/8” tall. If you include the chain it is about 4 ½” tall. I don’t know if it will shine up but it doesn’t look damaged so it should. The other one is marked GIN. Is about 2 ¼” wide, about 1 ¼” tall, and about 4” long if you include the chain. It is definitely cheaper made and rough on the edges. I don’t think it is silver but it is discolored on the back so I cant tell for sure if there is a marking. Bid as if it is NOT silver. GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER MADEIRA LABEL TICKET TAG REILY & STORER c1830 ANTIQUE
A Georgian sterling silver Madeira wine label. It is hallmarked for London with the maker’s marks being CR over GS for Charles Reily and George Storer. The pierced work cuts through the date letter but it dates to the 1830's the time Reily and Storer were producing these pieces. It is nicely cast having a decorated border with the word MADEIRA being pierced in the centre. It retains its original chain. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, there is a slight raised area above the letter R but this is just the way it has been made- possibly by some debris in the die stamp. The label measures 2.75 inches(5.8cms) by over 1.25 inches(3.4cms) and weighs 17 grams complete with its chain. A nice clean piece. She is all original and in her original box. She has sleep eyes that work great. A wrist tag, tag on dress indicating Sargent, umbrella and her stand. Her box needs some tape on 1 corner but is in good condition for the age. She is a beautiful doll. Please view pictures and email with questions.
