Poseidon Frist Stage Scuba Diving Regulator
Made in Sweden. Poseidon regulators are a favorite among advanced divers for performance and reliability in the most demanding conditions. This regulator is the version that uses standard thread(as opposed to metric) hoses. I'm cleaning out my dive locker and getting rid of things I've accumulated and never used. Or haven't used in a long long time! This first stage is one of these items. I got it used from a guy who did some traveling at least 7 years ago. The filter is green, indicating it was used in salt water. There is also evidence of a light impact on the end if the regulator. Both of these are shown in the photos. I put some hoses on it. A service like that in an Aussie dive shop would give you little change out of $100. The DX4 is a balanced diaphragm reg with 2 hp& 4 lp ports. So it can be configured either way up for your convenience. It'll come without the 1 hp& 3 lp plugs, where your hoses go. It's also environmentally sealed to stop silt, sand& other contaminants causing wear& tear. Cosmetically. It's got a matte finish but does have some very minor scuffing. Certainly well above average. Thank you for looking at this SCUBAPRO R295 Octopus. A simple downstream valve compact& lightweight reg. It had been serviced recently but was still disassembled on 13 December 2012& all components checked. The non-metallic parts were cleaned in a food grade detergent/disinfectant. The metal parts were fine. The double sided lp seat. Which had hardly any wear, was reversed& re-fitted& it's good to dive. Scubapro's 2007 catalogue gives the rrp for this reg as $265. Cosmetically. It's in average condition& the yellow purge cover& hose protector are also discoloured. However, if you're after a cheap, practical occy& don't want to stress about getting a new one scuffed when trying to get that cray or when making a rough shore exit, as they used to say in the Mitsubishi ad, please consider. This is a small/medium hollis harness attached to a aluminum hollis backplate and a dive rite venture exp wing. Set up for a single tank with two hollis tank straps and stainless buckles. There is also dive rite dump weight bags. I built this setup for fresh or saltwater so everything is rated for both. I am 120 lbs but it will fit bigger and smaller people. All in all. This is in excellent condition some fine scratches on front buckles. That is the only place i can find that shows any wear. This custom setup cost me about $700- $800. Here's the deal. I'm not a diver. But I've"inherited" some scuba gear. I have no idea what some of it is, or if its good, so I have enlisted the help of a dive store nearby. THIS is a SUUNTO scuba submerssible pressure gauge that reads pressure in PSI. It comes with a depth gauge. And compass as well. When at the dive store. They plugged it into a regulator, and confirmed that the pressure gauge worked properly. Not sure about the depth gauge, but the compass seems functional and accurate! There are some scratches, but nothing that deforms the product or makes it unusable. just normal wear according to the people at the dive store. Happy bidding!

Thank you for looking at this SCUBAPRO MK200 1st stage. I serviced this on 19 October 2012. Fully disassembling it, inspecting all components, ultrasonic cleaning them& fitting new Scubapro Annual Service kit parts. In very good condition. The handwheel logo being clearly legible. A little scraping along part of the bottom edge& also the rubber ring from the dust cap has marked the chrome under it. Like the MK2. The MK200 is Scubapro's"entry level" 1st stage. Being of a simple non-balanced piston design, it is reliable& cheap to service, with 1 x hp& 3 x lp ports, making it a favourite with dive shops as a hire& training reg. Being non-balanced means that it is affected by cylinder pressure. Full tank& the breathing is effortless. Get to 50 bar& the effort is noticeable- a good reminder for divers ... morewho may forget to check their spg, that it's time to head for the surface. Thank you for looking at this DACOR FORMULA 2nd stage. This reg was serviced on 20 October 2012. Being fully disassembled, inspected& ultrasonic cleaned, then fitted with new seat& o-rings. It's a downstream valve non-adjustable unit with a purge button depressor integrated into the front cover. When you're not diving. Slide the depressor over the purge button, as in the 2nd pic& it removes the lp seat from the knife-edge seal, so no static wear& the seat lasts much longer. These American regs are known for their simplicity. Durability& are easy& cheap to service. Whilst many(Aussie) dive shops will tell you they're obsolete, how hard is it to find some common size o-rings& a generic seat? And if you're reading this ad because you've got Dacor regs languishing in the shed that your dive shop ... moredoesn't want to know about, drop me line- chances are, I've got the"unobtainable" parts in stock. Thank you for looking at this BEUCHAT VOYAGER 1st stage& BEUCHAT VS1 2nd stage. This set was serviced on 15 October 2012. Being fully disassembled, inspected& ultrasonic cleaned, then fitted with new hp& lp seats, filter& orings. Beuchat is a French company that's been around for far longer than most of us. It takes pride in making its regs in a French factory with stringent quality control standards. The 1st stage is a balanced piston design with 4 lp ports on a swivel top& 2 fixed hp ports. The yolk is rated to 280 bar& it has a big. Chunky handwheel that can easily be unscrewed whilst wearing gloves. The 2nd stage is a downstream valve design without any fussy adjustments. Cosmetically. This set has some wear- unfortunately, some amateur removed a couple of small pieces of chrome off the 1st stage& the 2nd ... morestage inlet, trying to disassemble them with incorrect tools& the 2nd stage has some light scuffing. Vintage Scuba pro Stag handled diving knife
Here we have a vintage Scubapro dive knife with plastic stag handle made in Italy. The knife is in great condition. In fact such good condition id be surprised if it had been in the water. The blade is a bowie style of knife and has a good edge, no nicks or problems. The left side is marked"Scubapro" The right is marked"Italy Stainless. Overall length is about 12 1/2" the blade is about 7 1/2" long. The handle is a plastic stag look. Here lies its only problem which is yellowing from age where the rubber strap touches the handle but hardly an issue. please take a look at the photos. The scabbard is original and in great condition but missing the top strap. please email me with any questions.

Lake Titicaca or the Blue Holes of Belize and the Bahamas would have been sufficient for a book in it's own right. With Jacques Cousteau, however, this is just another day at the office and once he has made the points he wishes to impart- it's always time to move on. Very few of those who visit the Galapagos Islands have any understanding of the special factors that exist there- factors that must always be conserved. What Cousteau has to say has not diminished with the passage of time. As far as Lake Titicaca goes, few divers get to visit there anyway and the message from this section ... moreof the book is probably the only appraisal of diving this high altitude lake. Of course, Belize and the Bahamas are very popular with scuba divers- but I wonder how many of those visitors know exactly what they are looking at when they first set eyes on those underwater stalactites at depths of over 50m(165 feet) Having been required to re-read this series of books for this(and other) book reviews. I am finding them all the more interesting because of the time which has elapsed since I read them last. In short, these books are timeless and I repeat my view that no scuba diver's bookshelf is complete without a copy of this and those other books in the same series. Three Adventures" is filled with retro-esque pictures and commentaries about sea life. Sea life! Who doesn't love it? I know of no one. no highlighting. Notes, marks, etc. 7x11 Hardcover.
