An October 12. 1965 letter thanking a Mr. Vincent Amore of Massachusetts for his letter and modestly stating"we have gained much information for future flights. The signatures were photographed closely from different angles to scrutinize including one which was back lit(the last photo) US Govt. watermark eagle is shown in photo 10. I am not an autograph expert, this letter is sold as is please do your due diligence. Acquired at an auction, the owner had a couple of photocopied bios of the two astronauts with the letter. Antique Silver teaspoons x 5 matching Georgian. 58 gms. date letter o. 1835/1915
This is my one of 6 lots of silver spoons I am listing today. So please look at my other auctions as I am having a massive clear out, as due to moving soon. These are five matching tea spoons with a pretty design around the stem and the initials LID on the end of the stem. I have dated them myself. The letter is u, which I think stands for either 1835 or 1915. perhaps the design gives it away? The other stamps on the back are a lion passant(sterling silver) and the head of an indistinct man I think! Maker initials are too feint to read. They are all in good condition. And dent free. Total weight of two spoons is 58 gms.
