Please read my listing thoroughly and view all of my PHOTOS and VIDEO: Here is a vintage Teledyne Avionics Acoustic Impedance Meter model TA-1D with case. Made in USA. Includes case, headset, extra earpieces of various sizes, calibration instructions, and the small parts/accessories shown in the photos. I was told this item is from the 1960's or 70's. It appears in good condition, there is no outer damage to the case or the machine, just some scuffs and scratches. The calibration instructions are tattered but perfectly readable. I turned the machine on and followed the calibration procedure, it worked fine and I was able to set the readout numbers as per the instructions. I put the headset on and tested the levels for both stimulus and frequencies, they all worked just as they should, from extremely faint and low up to loud and very ... morehigh pitched tones, they all worked perfectly. I don't know how to operate or test the Pressure feature but the needle on the gauge does move when I turn the dial. The case appears to be made of fiberglass, it has some scuffs and scratches but is overall in very good condition. The latches work great and there is no rust on any of the metal parts. Toa ZM-104 Impedance Meter- Damaged & Needs New Meter
Here is a damaged Z Meter that my old bass gave me that we used all the time at the shop. It got dropped and the meter winding's broke. I tried to repair it but the wires are too fine. I accidentally threw away the old meter. But Toa told me they won't repair or replace parts in the meter anyway. I had to get the whole meter. I was hoping a replacement would show up here on Ebay, but no luck. All other parts in the casing are fine. Just get a new meter, if you can find one, and you'll have a $300+ meter! The plastic snap case is tore, but you can use it out of the case. Just don't want to toss it as these are needed for any audio shop repair man. Thanks for looking.

This benchtop impedance meter has 120Hz. 1kHz, and 10kHz measurement frequencies, builtin Kelvin fixture for radial and axial components, 5-digit display, internal 2VDC bias, pass/hi/lo limit testing, and more. It is very clean, has been thoroughly tested, works fine, and is in a good state of calibration. The second photo shows it measuring an inductor which bridges out at 17.004mH. Q factor is similarly accurate, as are the other functions and ranges. It comes with a power cord.
