Here is a cool stack of Heathkit vintage gear. AD 1404. AD1405, AD1407. An audio monitor with nice big vu meters, a noise reduction unit, and an octave equalizer. All appear to be functioning normally but I am missing a few minor parts. The monitor is missing one of the wood panels on one end as can be seen in photo. The equalize is missing one of the tiny red light caps. And the equalizer is missing one of the handles for the slides but the shaft is intact and slides normally. The cap for the power on button for the EQ is missing as well but again the shaft is fine and functional.

Heathkit Dual Trace Oscilloscope IO-4550 Antique
You are bidding on an antique Heathkit Dual Trace Oscilloscope IO-4550 working but due to age sold AS-IS! Something this old will. For sure, need calibration and some work. This was from my brother's father-in-laws estate. He was a TV repairman. Handyman, tinkerer most of his 96 years. This was one of the tools of his work. It comes with the 4 cables that are(sort of) pictured that are connected to the 4 B&C connectors on the one picture, as well as a 5th cable that I found when going through his box of cables. Etc, that has a B&C connector on one end and an RCA connector on the other. This had been sitting on a shelf in his work shop at his home then later on a shelf at my brothers home for a number of years. When I powered it up. To test it, the power light came on but no sweep traces then I notice a wisp of smoke coming from ... moreit. Upon investigating I found a burned up resistor. Always fun because you can no longer read the color codes. I went on line and located the PDF copy of the schematics for it. I printed the 6 pages of the schematic out and taped it together to make one complete(will be included) At the close of the auction I will also e-mail the winning bidder the PDF file schematics for your records. I. Looking at the parts on the PCB and the schematic, figured out that it was a 68 ohm 1/2 watt resistor, part of the CRT 3 stage driver circuit. I replaced both the resistor and the 2N3053 transistor it was connected to(in case it is what made the resistor burn) $11.00 in parts. Heathkit was designed with the novice and learner in mind and each PCB has a different number in relation to each board and component. L101. Q321 etc. the 100's on PCB 1 and the 200's on PCB 2 etc. Makes it nice, because a lot of their devices were sold as kits(hence the name Heathkit) This oscilloscope is working(powers up with A and B traces) but is sold AS-IS because no further testing was done and due to age may have other issues. Heathkit IB-5281 RLC Bridge Resistance Capacitance Inductance Meter
This is a Heathkit IB-5281 RLC Bridge which will measure resistance from 10 ohms to 10 megohms. Capacitance from 10 pF to 10 uF, and inductance from 10 uH to 10 Henries. It can also be used to measure how well matched two components are. The bridge is in very good physical and working condition. I measured some precision components and found resistance measurements to be within about 5% and inductance and capacitance within about 10% The bridge uses two 9V batteries(included) I don't have a printed manual. Up for bids is a functional Heathkit Color Bar and Dot Generator. The pictures shown are actual TV using channel 2 for each generator function. Model IG-28. Not sure if this is the original box. Comes with some original packing. With manual and paperwork. I'm not even close to an expert on this device. I plugged it in. It made electrical sounds when I moved some knobs. Vintage HEATHKIT Model GC-1005 digital alarm clock (NIXIE/NEON style) Panaplex
The GC-1005 was the first in a series of line-powered Panaplex display clocks from Heathkit. Introduced in 1973.Time is kept from a Mostek MK5017 PAA integrated circuit. The 5017 had several variants(MK5017AA, MK5017P and MK5017A) but was always a 24-pin dual-inline package(DIP) It was Heathkit part number 443-601.The clock uses three Sperry(Beckman) SP-352 two-digit Panaplex gas d ischarge displays. The displays were designed to fit in matching sockets. The CS-352. Although not used by the GC-1005, Dionics made chips like the DI-770(DI-770N) and DI-297(DI-297N) that could drive these Panaplex displays.These clocks are now three decades old, and one common problem that seems to appear is a"flicker" in the display, especially when the'1' digit is displayed. My clock has a very mild flicker in the last digit at times, but ... morevery stable most of the time. Replacing old SP-352 displays with new ones seems to fix the problem, however some additional information appeared in the Heath 1973 Technical Exchange Bulletin. The above mentioned is useful information I've found out about this clock. As far as cosmetics. It appears as though the kit builder most likely touched the bottom part of the case with a soldering iron(see my pictures) Also, the little rubber"feet" are all missing. Other than that, the clock is in very nice overall condition! I have tested the clock. And it keeps good time. Due to it's age though, I have to list it As-Is.

This is a fully functional HEATHKIT IG-102 RF Generator. It is in very good physical and functional condition. The cabinet looks nearly new. With a fresh paint job. This unit can be set to any desired frequency from about 100Khz to 110 Mhz via a 6 position range switch and and adjustable vernier dial and pointer. It produces either unmodulated or modulated(400hz tone) RF frequencies with adjustable attenuation via a 3 position coarse and a continuously variable fine attenuation control. This unit is useful anywhere an AM modulated or unmodulated RF signal between 100Khz and 110 Mhz is needed like: testing filter circuits. Adjusting tuners, receivers. shortwave radios, transceivers and any other kinds of frequency sensitive circuit devices. A needed tool for most any workbench! This unit has had the new BNC connectors installed in place of ... morethe original style microphone"button" connector. This gives you easy latitude to obtain and use any number of coaxial test leads and connectors commonly used on today's benches(I felt this was important to do) I provide a brand new coaxial BNC terminated set of test leads with gator clip ends to start you off. The switches have been cleaned. The controls have been cleaned and lubricated. And the unit was adjusted for output over all ranges. I checked the electrolytic capacitors for condition and filtration. I like my cabinets to look good. So the cabinet has been cleaned. Then Painted and it looks marvelous! The only objection I have is a couple of light small scratches on the upper left front panel(see the photos) Overall. The results were very pleasing. Vintage Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21, very good condition, fully functional
Up for auction is a Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21. This tube tester is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are minor scuff and scrapes on it. But nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage piece such as this. There is a knob missing on the lower right side and on the bottom of the unit the caps on the A& L levers are also missing. It is missing two foot pads on the left side and also on the back side it is missing one foot pad on the top left side on the back of the tester. Other than those few flaws, this is a very clean unit that has been tested and all knobs and switches and plugs& plug-ins appear to function properly. I was not able to test every bulb socket because I did not have all the sizes, I did have 7 different bulbs a few different sizes and each worked so I assume all the other sockets do too. Very clean Heathkit Model IT-5235 Yoke and Flyback Tester. Been stored in original box with manual(both in fair condition) Front panel is very clean. Along with the sides, rear, and bottom of the cabinet. The top does have a few scratches but not bad enough to show the metal through the paint, please take a close look at the pictures. Has a storage compartment in the rear to store test leads(included) and the power cord. This meter will read up to 40kV if you have the optional HV probe model IMA-100-10 but I would suggest using an Heath IM-5210 HV meter instead. Original Uni-probe leads from Heathkit VTVM model IM18. Worked fine when last used years ago. But since then volt meter has died and been sent to recycle, therefore no easy way to test. This is the switchable AC-Ohms-DC model. Probe is in good condition,but alligator clip did take a large spark at one time, so might need to be replaced as the tip of it is messed up a bit, still opens and closes okay. I did notice a small amount of age cracking on the black lead, but these are pretty old. Nevertheless, they are also very hard to find original ones. Voltmeter pictured is not included in auction. Meter, sockets, knobs, roll chart and all switches and controls are in excellent condition and operate, as they should. Will test 4, 5, 6, 7(large) octal, loctal, 9 and 7 pin miniature, sub-miniature, Nuvistor, duodecar and novar tubes. Will also test pilot light bulbs. Socket-savers are mounted on the octal, 9 and 7 pin miniature sockets. Roll chart is spring loaded to keep chart tight and flush to window and may be operated from either side of panel. Chart rolls freely from end to end with no binding. Meter and chart are lighted when tester is on. This Heathkit VTVM Model: IM-11 is in good aesthetic condition for parts or repair. The Needle is slightly crimped on the end due to the missing Needle/Dial cover. The unit powers on and the dial light glows. But I have no way of testing it to verify it actually works. The body casing shows minor chips and scratches and a small ding on the front upper left-hand corner. No signs of abuse or neglect other than the missing cover. Made by the Heath Company.
