I'm changing scales(again! and offering this Very Rare On3 Brass 26 Ton Shay locomotive made by Ajin and imported by ALCO(Australian Locomotive Co) This model has a unique feature in that it was made an On3 gauge engine but it can easily be regauged to On2 or On30 with the included parts and spacers. The trucks"pop" off to facilitate this. This model has parts added/changed to"Americanize"it, there were lanterns on the front pilot deck and rear of the water tank that were removed and a spike keg and some tools were added to the pilot deck. All the doors and hatches, sand dome hatch and even the smoke box door opens! The rear light looks like it may have been reattached at some point. Midwest 5 Ton Dump Hoist Trailer Truck Wagon Scissor Hoist
This is for the Midwest 5 ton dump hoist pictured. I have added 12 pictures total which will show the measurements. Initially the cylinder on this was stuck but I was able to free it up but putting hydraulic fluid into the front side of a cylinder and prying it open. It now moves smoothly. Freely, and has a nice tight feel to it. I have not tested it with hydraulic fluid but with the plug in it it does hold air pressure. The 5th picture shows some deep scratches and gauges from prying it open but this should not affect the overall performance. This was originally a wagon hoist but I feel it could be converted on to other things. Due to the overall weight and size and also to avoid shipping this freight it will be disassembled and shipped in 2 separate packages. I have dealt with a few of these and the shipping charges are usually very close ... moreto the actual cost but if it does go over I will cover the excess expense. I also welcome local pickup on this item. My knowledge is limited on this but I know how it works and what it's supposed to do so feel free to ask questions but be prepared to explain what you're looking for. No cracks, rust, chips and the holes are not out of round.
