Fairbanks and Morse 7 hp marine hit and miss engine
Nice early Fairbanks Morse 7 hp twin cylinder two cycle marine engine. Has great compression and i do not think it has been run but very little. No cracks breaks or welds on this engine.It is fired by two model t ford coils that are included and all you need is a battery to run the coils. I was going to use this engine but my plans fell through so i do not need it. Would be a great engine for a early boat project or just to have in a old engine collection. I will strap to a pallet and take it to the shipper of the buyers choice. Or to a Fastenal store here and it will go to the Fastenal store in your city. I will show shipping as free but it is up to the buyer to pay the shipping and make arrangements for shipping. It can be stored here but must be paid for at the end of the auction. Due to the age of this engine it is sold as is.

Vintage LG Marx Train Engine & Cars Lot 999 1666 Commodore Vanderbilt Sinclair +
This auction is for a large mixed group lot of Marx Train Engines and Tin cars. There are 6 Engines included in this lot and 24 Cars. complete list is below) Please view all the photos to determine condition. They show some wear and scratches from use. But most have no bad dents or rust, a little surface rust on some of the couplers and wheels which will easily clean off. Overall I would say most are still in very good or better condition considering their age. All the cars are complete with all wheels and couplers. And are usable as is. There are several different style cars with different style couplers. So they are not all compatible with each other. There are 6 inch tinplate metal cars with the metal tab/slot couplers, and one with plastic knuckle couplers. There are also the larger scale series metal cars with metal fork couplers, and ... morethe orange Santa Fe boxcar has plastic fork couplers. The engines are all usable as is. But one of the 999's is missing the trailing wheels, and one of the 1666's is missing the lead wheels. The 3 999's run and reverse well. And all of their headlights worked at the time of testing. The 2 1666's both run and reverse well too. Both have smoke units which work(requires smoke fluid which is not included) One of their headlights didn't work. But probably just needs a new bulb. Commodore Vanderbilt engine ran but reverse unit was a little finicky. Would probably be better after cleaning and some run time. Headlight also didn't work. But again most likely just needs a bulb. All of these engines were stored for a long time so should really be cleaned and lubed properly for optimum performance. Daylight" can be seen through the walls and roof just about everywhere. It will hold one Shay. Climax, Heisler or equivalent. Note the details in the various photos, especially on the roof. One of the photos shows the structure as it was placed in last owner's layout to give an idea of the thing in place. You may of course use it anyway you like. This auction is for a USA Trains G Scale Alco Santa Fe Powered A Unit and Powered B Unit Diesel Engine Set With Box.Please Read Full Description!There is a Powered A Unit and a Powered B Unit each measuring 27" long.The powered A unit is missing the front coupler.Roof horn,and the 2 rear ladders.One rear truck side has been replaced and the color is not a perfect match.The B Unit is missing the ladders at both ends and one truck side has been replaced and the fual tank sides have been replaced.One tank side needs to be painted.The other tank side has been painted and the red details are still taped off and the masking tape needs to be removed.It has a hook coupler at one end and a knuckle coupler at the other end.This engine has been in storage for the last 5 years.Prior to that it appears the original owner installed new motors and ... moresome type of DCC system that I can not get to work.I'm not really a G scale or DCC expert so I really didn't try other then putting it on the track and putting DC power to it.There is a red button inside the side door on each unit{Shown in the pictures below} and when the button is pushed with DC power to the track a red light flashes in the B-Unit and the headlight flashes on the A-Unit.There are some extra holes drilled in the underside of each unit and a small 3/4" square cut in the underside at the rear corner of each unit.This may or may not operate with the right DCC system.I don't know.It is being sold as a project to repair.It comes with the original box and foam inserts.There is no paper work with it.It also comes with the original brown shipping box.It will be shipped in the original brown shipping box.Added Note: In the pictures there is a small tank missing from the replaced truck side on the A-Unit.I found the tank and put it on so the truck side is complete.See Pictures Below.NO RESERVE.Shipping weight is 26 Lbs.
