Ideal model V antique lawnmower engine
I know very little about this engine. I got it from my father-in-law and he ran it last fall and summer. While running. The flywheel caught the spark plug wire and ripped it off so he spliced it back together. He put a plastic lawnmower gas tank on it. It has a wooden base attached and was restored years ago. It doesn't say model V but that is what it looks like to me compared to pictures that i have seen. If anyone has any info that i should pass along please let me know. I put no shipping on this ad but I will strap it to a pallet and bring it to The Fastenal store in Montpelier, VT for shipping to a Fastenal near you for no extra cost. I do not know the weight but would guess around 150 pounds with a pallet.

I completely rebuilt the transmission and hydrostat motor with new bearings, seals, gaskets- have all receipts& parts. cost $500 just in parts. Transmission has worked flawless while mowing, and I liked using the tractor so much that I bought a D200 as a backup tractor. Last fall unfortunately the Onan thru a rod. I've since removed the engine thinking I'd find another to put on the tractor. But now I've decided to simply sell the unit as it sits- is excellent either for parts or if you need a good solid running tractor and have an engine to put on it.
