Original 1 1/2hp SANDWICH Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler NICE
This is a real nice original barn fresh 1 1/2hp Sandwich hit and miss gas engine. It is the earlier tulip top version and is unmolested as can be seen. It has a good amount of original paint on it and quite a bit more to be found under the grease. It turns over nicely. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a small hole in the front corner of the original gas tank and the oiler glass is broken. This engine has the original Webster AMM magneto and ignitor on it. The fahnestock clip on the ignitor needs to be replaced. It has the original hinged crank guard and governor cover on it. There is some wear in the bearings on this engine that needs to be taken up but that's the fun part. This should be a pretty straightforward project and will be a very respectable original engine when it's done. VTG HIT AND MISS ENGINE GREASERTS AND OILER
Today I have for sale a used International Harvester flip top iron oiler with a 3/8" thread. A brass and iron oiler with no name also with 3/8" thread. The third one is a W.D. Allen brass and iron greasert push cap. With a 1/4" pipe. All are cleaned out. Ready to be reinstalled on the old hit and miss engines or tractors. They are all 2 1/2 to 3 1/2" long. Flip top has a diameter of an inch. The other 2 are approx. 1 3/4" Always check the photos. For they are a big part of the description. Feel free to check out my other interesting items. Now listed.
