It is a pleasure to offer you this vintage bisque and fabric body 23" doll. This doll is in good vintage condition. There are no damages to the bisque arms. Legs or head. It could use some cleaining. The body is fabric and free of tears. There are some stains to the fabric, which may be able to be cleaned. This doll is very life-like. She has a full head of hair which needs to be reglued. Her eyelashes are also hairlike. Her clothing is forest green velvet with white lace and button accents. The clothing was made by Cutest One. Made in the USA. This doll is marked"Alma 14/0" She is about 13 inches tall. Her head is Bisque while her body is made of leather and linen one foot has a small hole where sawdust likes to trickle out. There is a small hole under one of the arms and a small hole on one butt cheek and a small hole behind her knee. There is a mark on the leather it says"25" there are stains on the leather and linen body. Her fore arm/ hand is bisque and needs a cleaning! Her legs bend at the hips with metal joints that are turning green. She has small newer shoes I assume to help keep the sawdust in. Also there is a vintage red corduroy coat with silk lining there are some light pink stains on the silk lining. That is all the clothing she has. Her face is in good condition there is a mark on the front of her chest that looks like a weird"Y" with ... morea dot underneath. Her mouth is open with small teeth and she has small Grey/blue eyes that shut when she is laying down however her eye lids have rubbed off. The hair is not original and honestly need to be replaced.

Here we have an Antique Doll with Bisque Head and Composition Body- 8 1/2" It is in good antique condition. She is jointed at the head. Shoulders and hips. Her head is attached but loose and the base is chipped(8th picture) She has painted eye brows, lashes, nostrils, lips& boots. There is a paint rub under her right eye. Her hands and feet have chips in the paint. Her hat and hair are glued on. I don't believe her dress to be original, but it fits her well and is in good condition with only a few light stains and a pulled seam at the top of the back. Vintage Unmarked Lady Doll 17" Bisque Parian Age Unknown Hard Stuffed Body
Up for auction today is a previously owned. Unmarked 17” tall lady doll with pierced ears, age unknown. I will do my best to describe her- I’m not really familiar with this type of doll, so please ask questions before bidding. Her brown hair looks painted to have a part in the middle. There is a pinkish band on the back(headband? On the right side are two small dots of missing color(pic#4) There is a very small chip near the left earring hole(pic#1) The arms and legs seem a little shiny. The head and shoulders are not. Arms have a pale pink tint to them, the legs are more flesh tone. There are a couple little marks near her chin, and the back of the shoulder plate looks like it needs a little cleaning. Her right pinkie finger is broken(pic#12) Her black shoes have little white dots on the sides, like the old-fashioned shoes. Her cloth body ... moremight be muslin(I’m not good with fabrics) and is stuffed with something that makes it feel hard. Her dress feels like polyester and looks newer than the slip and pantaloons. The snap on the pantaloons needs adjusting so they don’t fall down; I’ve put a small pin on them. To help keep them up. The elastic in the sleeves is stretched out. A doll stand is included. But all of our research points to a correct identification. This doll was given to my mother in the early 1950s by a family member returning home from military service in China. He likely came back through California. The doll has resided since that time on a shelf behind a glass door in a breakfront. It came into my possession several years ago along with the breakfront and has been displayed in the same manner ever since. The doll is approximately ... more9-3/4"10" lying flat. It has a jointed body with movable head. Arms and legs and seems to be strung well. It has a painted face and silk clothing. If you would like to see more photos from different angles. What appears in a left-facing photo above to be dirt on the left side of the face is actually a shadow. There is a tiny dent on the left side of the chin. There are a few scratches on the face. There is a tiny chip in the composition on the underside of the left thumb. The silk jacket is frayed in the front. Part of the red band on the wisdom hat has disintegrated. The band around the pants has come apart in the front. The shoe fabric is frayed. There are stains on the back of the legs. Likely from sitting on well-polished furniture over the years. The imitation pearls at the neck and sleeves are intact. The pom poms at the ears are intact. The queue(pigtail) shows no wear. ANTIQUE VINTAGE 1920's-1930's COMPOSITION MAMA GIRL DOLL, CLOTH BODY CRYER, 24"
This super cute 24" composition girl doll with cloth body is original and from the 1920's or 1930's. She doesn't have any markings. So I don't know who made her, but there is a picture of her in the book 200 Years of Dolls. 4th Edition, Page 121 and she is described as an unmarked Mama Type doll. She has a curly brown mohair wig and gorgeous green sleep eyes that have crystallized, but still work great and have their eyelashes. She has a great smile with apple red lips, six white teeth and a felt tongue. Her face and arms have some faint crazing. Her legs don't have any crazing. But are a darker shade of pink than the rest of her body, which appears to be a factory flaw(see picture 6, top of left leg) Her hands are good and I'm guessing her feet are good too, because it looks like her shoes and socks haven't ... morebeen touched in over 80 years! Her back has a crack and her head has a crack under her wig, so it isn't noticeable. I am unable to remove all her clothing. But I don't see any stains on her cloth body, which is amazing! She has a cryer on her back, which I think is wood, but it doesn't work. Her outfit is original. Very dirty and has a tear. It consists of full length pantaloons with a built in slip and a darling dress. Her shoes are falling apart and one is missing a buckle. She measures approx. 24" She is one of the cutest composition dolls ever and all original. With a little TLC she would look vintage new again. But displays great as is!

She was born in 1929 and collected dolls during her childhood. Some of the dolls were given to her by her grandfather.
