1942-1945 Stanley Bailey #7 Wood Plane - Sharp Square Blade - Was a Work Plane
This is a very clean Stanley Bailey#7 wood plane that is very clean but it was a work plane. It was full of chips and you can see the age in spots; the bottom has aged and the picture shows the color varies. Also a tiny nick at the rear of the mouth(see picture#8) the blade has some age spots near the but is sharp& square; the lateral adjustment lever is missing the thumb plate that makes it easier to move but it still works just fine; this is a WWII plane. 1942-1945, so it has no brass and the screws for the tote& knob have a smaller head. The brass went to the war effort. I got it at an estate sale in PA and the man had restored many of his planes so the plane top is well protected.
