There is one blank panel, presumably for a monogram, but it bears no monogram. It is marked inside: STERLING 10 and the hallmark for Waite Thresher- a star with a thimble inside. It is in good vintage condition. It has a slight oval shape from use but there are no dents. It has 1 pin holes on the top and is clearly visible in the pictures. A star, and a 9 on the inside of the thimble. I don't see anything on the inside of the star. The thimble weighs 4 grams. It is bent a little around the bottem. It is not perfectly round. I don't know what year it is.

In the apex(inside) top is stamped with the trademark for Waite Thresher. It is a five pointed star with a tiny thimble in the middle. Above this it is stamped with STERLING. The sterling silver thimble features a Folk Art leaf and scroll design around the bottom perimeter, is in excellent condition with no needle holes and still has its original shape without distortion. The Waite, Thresher hallmark star with a thimble is stamped on the inside along with the number 11 indicating the size. Measuring 11/16" in diameter by 7/8" tall this thimble would be perfect for display of use.

Up for this auction I have 2 very nice Arcade cast iron toys, both toys are marked McCormick Deering on the side,the farmall tractor have a broken piece but still,this toy is super hard to find, the thresher looks good and I don't see any cracks on it but I am not sure if the 2 tubes on the top are original or something that was replace long time ago, and the small one is attached with a nut as you can see it on the pictures, overall great toys that even in this condition they will look great in every collection, please look at the pictures as they are part of my description and if you have more questions ask at any time, this toys I will sale as is, good luck bidding and thanks for looking. It is in fold out form and measures 15x19" It shows various specifications and features of this thresher, besides optional attachments available for other types of crops.
