This is a unique and definately 60's era item. It is a wall planter which sits into a brass wire ring and decorative wire wall support. The planter is a heavy solid brass cone on which there is a ceramic inlay applied. The theme is brass. White, and pink with one almost burnt orange leaf like on the front as an accent. It is a collectible and a conversation piece made by Nevco! I imagine you could get very creative with how you choose to use it and what you put in it.

Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French faience majolica jardiniere planter. Made by the Keller& Guerin company in Luneville. France between 1885-1906. This is what they called"Les Bleus de France" This jardiniere was dedicated to Jeanne d'Arc and has the inscription"nee a Domremy en 1409" It aslo features the Cross of Lorrain in white enamel and gold eagles. It measures 9.5 inches long. 6.25 inches wide and stands 4.25 inches tall. It is unmarked but found in a diffrent form on page 95 in the book"La Faiencerie fe Luneville 1786-1923" It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! There are other bowls out there of similar shape and color, but I didn't see any with the gold trim that this bowl has. This bowl measures approx. 9.5" by 8.5" by 7" It is in very good condition. Just some rubs to the gold trim at the high points and there is a tiny pop to the glaze in one place near the rim, barely noticeable. When I plunk it, it doesn't quite ring, so I looked for a crack, but cannot find one. But still, this is an attractive piece and a great addition to your decor. Good Luck! Tara estates held there annual community sale this past week. It wasn’t quite so festive this year. That front that dumped all that snow out west was here for the weekend– so it was cold& rainy off/on the whole time. I didn’t spend as much time out there as usual. But I did find some great items. Here's a pretty collectible ashtray. The impression is actually made on the underneath side of the ashtray. It has a nice pointed edge(there is one edge piece broken off(I didn't notice it when I bought with all that cut glass look. But it's pictured on the top of the ashtray by his hat. Vintage Planter's Peanut Jar with glass lid that pushes down into jar to make a tight seal in excellent condition. I couldn't find any flaws. Jar is marked"1984" on the bottom and has the Planter's peanut mascot on the bottom and the lid. Jar has a diamond type pattern most of the way to the bottom and also on the sides of the lid. A very attractive piece from a time gone by. You don't find this kind of thing anymore with today's products. Would be great on the kitchen counter for display or for use. Measures 8-1/2" tall and the opening 6-1/2" x 4" The vase is marked on the bottom although it is very hard to make out. It took me a while to figure it out. Any way it has Gonder. USA, and there is a marking under the glob of brown but I can't make this out. The condition is Very Good. It has a chip and 3 cut marks on the bottom that look like they are from the making of the piece but you can't see them when the vase is sitting straight up. ~ Vintage Mexican Pottery Hand-painted Planter ~ Unusual ~ Large Armadillo! ~
Gorgeous and very cool: large vintage ceramic pottery armadillo from Mexico. This dates back to the 1960s era; the style of painting/pottery itself is classic. However the shape, size and condition of this piece are very uncommon. He has the most winsome'expression' it's hard not to smile when looking at him. Very impressive in size: nearly 16" by 7.5" by 5" Heavy. Substantial pottery. In absolutely wonderful condition; the only flaws I can find are a fine. Nearly invisible hairline from the edge toward his neck(on the outside only, it seems) and maybe the very tiniest bit of crazing; no chips. Nicks, or wear. A couple of his toes seem a bit odd/short. But if so, that happened during creation, as they're well-glazed over. I have seen a number of pieces of this style and age. And had a large swan in similar colors, ... morebut this is the only armadillo I've encountered. The photos don't begin to show the size of personality this old guy has! This is a unique and delightfully handsome fellow that would be stunning in an Arizona room or any southwestern decor. Shipping: please use the calculator. Sadly.
