This auction is for a wonderful antique textile fragment. It consists of a silk or silk blend fiber content on a linen-type ground. It has discoloration(two shades) inherent with age. It appears more prominent in photos. But it is only to show you the discoloration/fading more clearly. This is a very unique shade of pale fleshy/peach/pink. It has a lovely patina. If color is important, please remember that all monitors are set differently and this is being sold"As Is" I believe that one can see all flaws very clearly and even more so with the zoom lens feature. The embroidery? work is very intricate/finely detailed and stitches are tiny. The last three photos show the underside. This piece was dated Late Qing to Early Republic. An almost similar piece( however smaller) was sold in 2008 at an imprtant Auction House in NY(2008) for over $22.000. The piece was hand carved from a single block of translucent pale green 100% jadeite jade and it belonged to the same family collection for more than 60 years. I've tried to outline beauty of the carving. The finesse of the polishing and the translucency of the jadeite on the pictures taken to the best of my abilities. This is a large. Heavy piece, weighing approx 6,600 grams(14.5 lbs) of pure. 100% natural jade. Vintage"VISIBLE MAIL" Glass mail box. 1920s- 30s. The top lid and bottom flap work well. The bottom bracket with mounting holes is intact. The box itself. Which measures 11" tall, 5" wide and 3 1/2 deep, is in excellent condition! The metal parts are in excellent condition and still shine. The original paper tag is still inside the mailbox. this box looks to have never been used. The glass appears to be a VERY pale green, almost like an old bottle, or maybe the light plays tricks, so it could be clear, it depends on how the light hits it. I know these have gotten harder to find lately. Please look at the photos and email with any questions.

This auction is for a lovely antique circa 1800s iridescent silk taffeta edging salvaged from a Victorian era gown. It is doubled and stitched with silk threads. This is a beautiful shade of mint green with golden hues. I have shown the two thread shades in last photo. This creates a beautiful shimmering quality. This was actually the edging for a ruffle. But the trim was totally shattered. This has no issues and is already finished off so that one can use it readily It already has a very tiny lip at top edge for attachment to a textile. There are no rips. Tears or stains. This is authentic of the era. If shade is important. Circa 1850 to 1870, or so, and probably from the Staffordshire, England area. Pitcher is 6 3/4" high with a 4" diameter base, and it is in excellent, original condition with no damage and no restoration. It retains a high luster surface glaze, and the pitcher was formed in a 2-part mold typical of manufacture in this period. This pitcher is a very unusual color, which I have never seen before. Antique Porcelain Ewer Impressive little ewer. Delicate yet sturdy. Snow white porcelain with pale green jade glaze. Handpainted raised relief gold gilt bird with mums& what look to be branches with cherry blossom. Very Japanese styling. Thin hook applied handle in excellent condition with strong gilt/minimal wear. Rim decorated with raised gold dotting. Stylized cloud motif& done in irregular line. Some dark lines inbedded in glaze on neck indicate wood fired kiln production. Bottom rim has rough(not chipped) feel from sitting flat in kiln. Tiny glaze pock painted over in one of the mum leaves left of center in front. Very clean interior. Up for sale is this 1939"standard" double basin farm sink in great condition. The sink is approx 51" wide at widest by 25" front to back by 12" high. The apron is 6" and the back splash is 6" total.The basins are 21" x 16" There is a super deep basin on the left at approx 12" deep and the right is 6" deep. The outside faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size and will include the new drains. The sink set is 70+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used.
