They are in very good condition with very minimal shelf wear on the bottom, the coffee canister has very tiny chip on the rim, and the aluminum lids has some discoloration. 80s VINTAGE ULTRASUEDE PALE PURPLE BLASSPORT SKIRT JACKET 36chest SUIT
This BLASSPORT jacket and skirt is a size 8. The jacket measures 18 inches from armpit to armpit. Sleeve length is 20 1/2 inches. And across the shoulders measures 15 inches. The jacket is 23 inches long. Skirt is 26 inches long. Waist is 26 inches around and hips are 36 inches. There is a side zipper and hook and eye closure at the waistband. The jacket has no closures or buttons. It does not have pockets either, but the skirt has 2 hip pockets. Both pieces have been worn. I see a few light stains, which I have not tried to clean. Sadly, the box, though structurally solid, has been damaged- apparently when someone wrapped tape around it and then removed it, resulting in loss of some of the surface color on the box. Lovely is my word choice to describe this satin or custard Fenton glass bell. I honestly don't know which it is. I'd appreciate enlightenment. However. It is a very pale celery green in color with four hand painted pink floral accents surrounding the bell. I photographed all four. In the light. The little pink and white flower colors sparkle. Each one is"framed" in a raised glass oval. There are also expressed(raised) floral swags beneath each one and the handle is decorated. The Fenton artist who hand painted this bell signed her name on the inside rim: S. Meunier. When Fenton first started the Decoration department in the late 1960's, the artists signed their full names. Later that was changed to the first initial and last name. Glass is so reflective it is difficult to capture the details in a photo. Child’s eyes seem closed at first glance but are actually very light in color(please see magnified image) The pressed cardboard embossed case is damaged, especially the front cover separated at the spine. The cloth edge of the image is worn& faded. The ornate elegant inner mat is fine, its thin fancy outer frame is a bit corroded& even bent a bit. The image has some splotches of corrosion on Mamma’s face& left arm as well as her baby’s bright calico print dress’s skirt. But this is still a lovely image. This is an onyx carving made in Mexico of a man in a sombrero taking a siesta by a cactus; there are two holes in the top of the cactus and one[angled] in the side for holding. something(each measures 3/16" in diameter) The man has come unglued from the base.
